Comments: I wouldn't waste my time on this. The problems with it are simple: I haven't even had a bite on this using colors that have normally worked. But you know, that could be a number of things. However what makes this really not worth it is the eyes of the hook are so small sometimes you can't even get a braided line through. What good is a lure that you can't tie onto a line?

Comments: I bought 1 of these (thank God it wasn't more) to test out and I was SORELY disappointed out of the package the swivel was already super sticky and even after some intricate lubes work it still would hardly wobble let alone spin. As far as it goes I bought an underspin for my 5yr old to toss around. Not even worth the plastics ull rig on this. DO NOT BUY

Comments: I fish pretty stained and pressured urban community ponds and this underspin paired with a 4.3" Keitech Fat Impact Swing (Bluegill Flash) produces a lot more than anything else for me. I use the 1/4oz chartreuse/black with the gold turtle blade most of the time. I can fish it many ways, slow roll, burned, even pitched in light cover since it's weedless. I did have one lure where the wire to the blade broke off on a fish, but Dave Maurice at Venom took care of it. Venom backs their product, and I appreciate a company that does that. I'm going to get some of the heavier underspins now that it's winter and I'm going to try for deeper fish.

Comments: Went fishing with my friend on a pressured lake that sees spinnerbaits all the time. We were flipping jigs on trees and laydowns. When I saw some shad flipping, I picked up the sling blade with a gambler ez swimmer and caught some good fish really quickly. I'm now officially a fan!!

Comments: The way the blade and swivel clips onto the hook is really bad; after no more then 5 cast my blade was gone. Terrible way of building an underspin. Will not buy again!

Comments: I recently purchased the 1/2 oz size with the Colorado blade. It looked great in the water. The first hit I got on it knocked the spinner blade off of the jig. Too bad, I thought it had great promise. Just have to get onother.

Comments: I read about the Slingblade in Bassin Magazine and ordered a couple in 1/4 and 3/8 size. They're really nice baits and had a nice one on with the first cast using a big 5" grub on it (course it got off) but the next cast I swear I got the same fish, a dandy 3 pound largemouth. Since then I've tried several other plastic baits like flukes and shad and they really shine when paired with this bait. The shape of the head seems to keep the bait at the proper depth without rising or spinning like some others do. I can't speak to any experience with swimbaits although I think the smaller ones would work ok.
