Overview
Perfect for when the bass are keyed in on smaller baitfish, the Venture Lures Steady Swimmer Swimbait is a highly realistic hand poured swimbait that bass won’t be able to resist. Featuring a deep cut into the gills and a large paddle tail, the Venture Lures Steady Swimmer Swimbait produces an aggressive tail kick with a unique mid section action that moves more naturally through the water to fool even the wariest of bass. Its solid body construction also prevents it from rolling at high speeds and makes it a great option for a variety of rigging applications including single jigheads, umbrella rigs, small screw-lock hooks, and even drop shots.
For an added level of attraction, the Venture Lures Steady Swimmer Swimbait is infused with a heavy dose of garlic and salt, which triggers extra bites and makes fish hold on longer as well. Available in a selection of custom hand poured colors that can’t be replicated by mass produced baits, the Venture Lures Steady Swimmer Swimbait is the ultimate finesse swimbait that will help you out fish the competition.

Comments: Indestructible! Well, that might be a little strong but they are indeed tough as nails. Sharp toothed critters will chew and scar this bait but it does not tear easily and that's the factor that keeps them on the hook and catching fish. I caught eight speckled trout to 21" in the marsh just yesterday on a single bait.. just one, all day long. Tough. The 2.75" works best (for me) on a 3/0 swim bait hook, while the 3.25" needs a 4/0. The Eagle Claw hook works very well due to the angle at the hook eye, allowing for head clearance of the fat body of this bait. Perfect combination. I subscribe to the "throw 'em something different" school of thought when it comes to bait selection (from my bass fishing days) and I'd almost be willing to bet I'm the only Texas gulf coast angler fishing this bait.. maybe not, but certainly one of the very, very few. My go-to plastic and, along with the Venture Supervisor, the ONLY one in my box. A very good bait. Do yourself a favor and tie one on.

Comments: These swimbaits are awesome for Great Lakes Smallmouth and bass across the country. They have an action unlike anything else on the market. You are going to want to get some before everyone has them in their tackle box. Walleye love them too!

Comments: I tied on a GP Kicker today while searching for Lake Erie lake run smallmouth, but a nice, late season steelhead mashed it! Had a good smallie jump off few casts later. The tail really thumps, especially for a small bait.

Comments: Small swimbait with a chunky profile and a lot of thump in the tail. I fish them on a 1/16 or 1/8 Owner blockhead jig in coastal backwaters for flounder, redfish and specks. (Wish someone made a keel weighted 1/0 hook for small baits like this but the blockhead works well enough.) Nice hand pour colors, not particularly durable when tangling with bruisers like redfish and sabertooth flounder. I find one of these on the end of my rod quite often.

Comments: Holy cow this thing is unreal! Super soft pours which can be hard to find! This bait puts off alot of action for it size! I have found this to be a killer option out deep, but also up shallow! If I would throw a shallow crank there, I'll throw this there also! The results have been awesome! Seems to be something new for high pressured lakes also! Must try!
