Overview
Wave answered the prayers of many anglers when they introduced the Wave Worm Tiki-Crawdude. Finally there is a craw imitation that has a solid bulky body and a realistic look. The cylindrical body is heavily injected with salt and scent. The lifelike look and available colors make this a great Texas-rigged flipping bait or jig trailer. Wave has also come up with some colors never before seen in craw imitations. From swirl to standard, the Tiki-Crawdude can get the job done.

Comments: This is my all time favorite crawdad. Awesome when texas rigged flipping into beds during the spawn. Caught a 6 pounder. Black with blue pinchers is the color to go with.

Comments: Couldn't agree more with L.J. I am a jig fishing freak and have a ridiculous (literally, ridiculous) amount of craws/trailers that I have tried over the years and this is my all time go to jig trailer.. Not a tone of action, but very realistic looking.. L.J's tip- that's been one of my secrets for many years now- inserting a small glass rattle in the nose of this bait.. Creates a very subtle sound and has no doubt caught a ton of bass for me- including my personal best, a 9lb bucketmouth from a private rock quarry in Missouri! Excellent product..

O.K. Since ya have to be led by the hand, the trick is this:
1. Use a Zipper Power football head in 1/4 to 3/8 oz. or for finesse work the Zipper finesse football head in 3/16.
2. Color,,,any one you want as long as its watermellon.
3. Rig weedless after pinching one and a half inches off the tail and fish anywhere with it. Here is a secret tip, crawdads don't rattle they hiss, so put the smallest worm rattle you can get in the nose.
People this is the tool for imitating the craw. Three D profile and none of that flat claw nonsense. C'mon guys, a no brainer when you consider the price.

Comments: This craw is one of the best in its category. Friends and I have caought lots of fishes from bass to european catfish, including yellow perch, zander (european walleye) and northern pike. Rig it texas with 3/8 to 1 oz weight and 4/0 or 5/0 wide gap strong hook, and hold on ! Great results everywhere we tried them.
