Overview

Designed to help kayak fishing anglers transport vessels easily on hard-packed surfaces, the YakAttack TowNStow Bunkster Kayak Cart features rubber tread 3-piece BeadLoc wheels perfect for boat ramps, firm-packed trails, and inland access points. Built to withstand years of abuse in harsh marine environments, the YakAttack TowNStow Bunkster Kayak Cart is built from UV-resistant, high-quality injection molded polymers, anodized aluminum tubing, and stainless-steel hardware for exceptional durability.

Disassembling completely and without the need for tools, the wheels are removed by depressing the button behind the hub on the axle which can be done in seconds, and the fixed uprights are removed by lifting the orange position detent lever and sliding them off the axle. Everything minus the centralized tie-down point can be removed from the aluminum axle, leaving you with five parts that can be stored in most hatches.

Intended for use with 1” cam straps (not included), the Bunkster Cart features a rubber bunk pad configuration with 6-adjustable positions spanning 6.25” – 16” widths and integrated tie-down points that fit many hull shapes of modern-day kayaks. Complete with two kickstands to make launching your kayak a breeze, the YakAttack TowNStow Bunkster Kayak Cart is configured with one on each side to optimize and support the loading angle on both sides of the cart, snapping into place and locking out of the way.

Works awesomeI have a set of native sidekicks on my Jackson big rig, but the other day when I was unloading it I had an “oopsie” moment when I ripped the rails out on the yak, so was in a bind. Friend helped me load it back up in the truck, and decided to just run to the store and pick up a cart to tide me over, grabbed this one. I’m actually very happy with it, not just because it saved the day from being a total flop. Very simple to put together, literally takes all of 30 seconds to do, no tools required, and it weighs absolutely nothing. The big rig is not a light kayak, and I felt totally comfortable with this thing under it. I will be going back to sidekicks after I install some new rails and reinforce them, I had them on my old kayak and love how convenient they are, but I still may keep this as a backup just in case something were to happen again. If you have an old town where you can’t put landing gear or sidekicks on, or you just don’t want to, this is probably the best way to go.
