Overview
Specifically designed for Ned rigging, the Yamamoto 3” Ned Senko Floater offers the same legendary action that Yamamoto baits are known for but meticulously tuned to be the best Ned bait on the market. Made using a floating formula of plastic, the Yamamoto 3” Ned Senko Floater provides a subtle quivering action and ultra soft texture, just like the original Senko, but is able to float tail up when rigged on a jighead to entice wary fish into biting. The flat head and tapered tail also match up seamlessly with a wide selection of Ned jig heads to create a perfect streamlined Ned rig profile. Available in a range of Yamamoto’s custom colors that are unmatched by any other soft plastics, the Yamamoto 3” Ned Senko Floater will become your new go-to Ned rig bait.

Comments: Been using the Ned Senko ever since it came out on the Great Lakes and its a smallie killer!!

Comments: They float just fine. Put them on a 3/16oz football head and flipped them around rocky points. Smallmouth crushed it today. I actually prefer these now based on the color and quality alone. They're somewhat squishy and more durable than a regular senko. I just like how they're more translucent than a TRD. I don't care for fish stories. I had zero issues and landed fish.

Comments: Cannot float on even a light wire number one EWG hook. Will use Z-man TRD.

Comments: The Yamamoto Ned Senko was a much needed bait in the lineup. With the mega floater formula infused into the bait, it allows the bait to stand straight up on a ned head. I personally rig it on the Z-Man football ned head and love it. They are great paired together and get you bites whenever the bite is tough!

Comments: These stand up for me (on a Z-man 1/10 head, for example), aren't a pain in the butt to store or rig onto a hook, and look more vibrant than any Finesse TRD (where the flakes always feel dull, and you don't get any translucent features). These won't last as long, of course, but the ease of use is a big reason I prefer them. If you don't mind Elaztech, stick with Z-Man. These are a great alternative for those that don't like that kind of plastic.

Comments: I love the 3" Fat Senko. These don't stand up on the bottom every time. BUT, add a tiny bit of weight, and you have some cool colors of a fat 3" Senko! Honestly, this was the first release from Yamamoto in a long time that I was not excited about.

Comments: I purchased these and took them to Table Rock Lake Mo for spotted bass and small mouth and they are incredible. The way they float made then stand up off the bottom and we caught several each day. Very durable and one bait lasted for several fish.

Comments: Got to try them out for the first time the other day. Decent bait but my dad out fished me from the back of the boat with zman. Obviously doesn't last as long as zman either but just about destroyed on one fish. Not busting on yamamoto but I'll stick with zman for neds and use yamamoto for plenty of other stuff.

Comments: If you're planning on using an EWG ned hook be aware these are not as buoyant as the Z-Man TRD. They will float upright on a 1/16th ounce EWG ned hook if they land the right way, but do not float at all on a 1/10th ounce jig head. If you're using regular open hook ned heads I'm sure it will be fine. Just thought I'd mention that because I know a lot of bank fisherman use an EWG ned hook

Comments: Great bait. Yamamoto got it right! Looks like the original 3" Senko, but this bait actually floats, tail straight up, almost 100% of the time. Seems to float straight up better than the Z-Man TRD, without the pain of rigging elastec onto a mushroom head. Roboworm Ned worms have their great colors, but the bait lies flat on the ground 100% of the time. That might work some of the time, particularly in cold water situations, but I personally have had better success with Ned type baits that stand straight up.

Comments: I purchased some of the new "Floating" 3 inch senkos. Unfortunately they do not stand up as advertised and in company videos. I tested them in my swimming pool with two different 1/16 heads. They would stand for a brief second and then sink to a 45 degree angle or lie flat on the bottom of the pool. If you are looking for a bait that stands strait up, these are not it.

Comments: This bait is being introduced at the I-Cast show in July of 22. I tried some yesterday afternoon on some shallow water Smallmouth. It does perform as advertised and the SM bass eat it just fine. Used three different colors on a Ned head jig. Fishing 3-6 FOW in some rocks and the SM were mostly post spawn. The bait held up surprisingly well for a Senko as I could catch 4 or 5 bass before the bait had to be changed out. The guy in the boat with me was using a 2" tube and catching the same numbers of fish as I was so I won't say its better or worse than other baits, but it does catch bass.
