Overview
Unlike any other bait in the Yamamoto line-up, the Yamamoto 5” Slink-O Floater provides a unique action that is great for multiple applications so that you can catch more fish. Featuring a heavily ribbed body while maintaining a classic Senko profile, the Yamamoto 5” Slink-O Floater traps air when it hits the water and releases an enticing bubble trail as it moves through the water column, giving it a more lifelike presentation. It is also made from Yamamoto’s Mega Floater Formula, which allows the tail to stand up vertically and dance when rigged on jigheads, shakey heads, Ned rigs, and Neko rigs. It will float up off the bottom and stay in the strike zone when rigged on a Carolina-rig as well. A must-have for every tackle box, the Yamamoto 5” Slink-O Floater is available in a wide selection of Yamamoto’s custom colors that have been catching fish for decades.

Comments: I've been liking these as a trailer on the back of a 3/8 oz jig. Using a stick worm as a jig trailer is nothing new, that said this will give it more of a subtle swimming motion on the way down versus using a regular Senko for this application.

Comments: The Slinko is definitely a fish catcher... but they are the least durable bait I have ever fished.

Comments: Brought some Slinko with me to Mexico this winter and it absolutely catches fish! The ribs on the side gives the bait great action. I was using it on a carolina rig.

Comments: The packaging is a large clamshell. I get it, they wanted this bait to stand out on the shelves and not get mistaken for 'just another bag of Senkos' like it would have if they bagged them up. The clamshell takes up a ton of room though, so move them to bags. Other than that, these are BIG. They most def have a time and a place though.

Comments: I went out to a small lake the other week and tried the number of baits, including the new Yamamoto's Slinko. I caught some smaller fish throughout the day on reaction baits, but not very many big ones. Late in the afternoon it got slick calm and I decided to slow down and pull out the Slinko. I'm sure glad I did. I caught a 6.79lber and a 8.44lber back to back on a texas rig fishing in shallow water. Needless to say, I'm a believer now. This is a big fish bait.

Comments: I was really excited about these and pre ordered them. Got to fish with them my last trip of the season and they do catch fish! I used an Aaron martens rhino jig head and they loved it but the only major downfall is the bait doesn't last.. basically 1 fish per worm then its ripped in half. I tried using half a worm for more of a Ned and no bites.. put new worm on and got another bite and another torn worm.. for the price and lack of durability there should be 10 in a pack. Would make me want to keep buying them. I probably will buy them again and just complain about it lol
