Comments: I'll try just about any pencil popper, and to me, this one is a little more "finesse" than my standard Cordell version. The plug walks great, with less effort than most pencil popper style plugs, and doesn't make quite as much of a commotion on top. A good option for when the stripers are on top but not going crazy for the Cordell.

Comments: I drew a co-angler last year at Lake Lanier in a BFL event who was using this bait. He was working for Revital Outdoors in the fishing industry. He was using this bait and mentioned he had previously worked for Yo-Zuri and had a hand in designing this bait with the manufacturers in Japan and the Yo-Zuri prostaff. He flat out kicked my tail on this bait, and gave me one at the end of the day. Spotted bass cannot resist this thing. Its got the deep popping sound, casts a mile, and literally twitches side to side better than I have ever seen. This is the real deal!

Comments: I had gotten this lure last year and was excited to try it on our annual trip to Rainy lake. The first cast I could not keep the Northern Pike off of the lure. In addition to side to side I found that if you jerk it down it will go under the water and shimmy its way back up. It killed the Northern and bass for about an hour. I was casting into a back bay and the wind took it. It hooked a big pine tree that was too big to climb or get into the boat. Already have the replacement plus a spare for next year

Comments: We used this lure on the ca delta for stripper this fall. Caught lots of fish. My wife caught her first keeper stripper using it. She is just learning to fish and had no trouble working it. I worked it fast and slow with great results. You can cast this lure a country mile as well.

Comments: Talk about a must have top water bait . It's a little big for bass for my liking . But I used for striped bass here in Maryland and got 4 huge blowups the first time I used it . Top quality from yo zuri with everything from the colors to the hooks . The bait is multifunctional with waking and pooping .
