Overview
The YUM Wooly Bug takes all of the best characteristics of flipping and pitching baits and combines them into one unbelievable package for the big fish angler. Flip it into cover, shake it, hop it and get ready -- the Yum Wooly Bug gets bit. The large, ribbed body displaces a tremendous amount of water, the pinchers add to the lifelike profile and the beavertail provides a never-before-seen action. Combine all of those attributes with LPT (Live Prey Technology) and the Yum Wooly Bug is sure to be a tournament winner.

Here's whyIt's the scent that makes these lures great. The LPT. try the scent on bed fish. I had a 11.7 pound bass that would not respond to anything, but when I used Yum scent on my zoom speed worm; I cought that bass. LPT is great.

Comments: Single best beaver bait on the market. It makes all the others look bad IMO. Its colors, Price, Durability, and the sizes make it perfect. Texas rig, Carolina rig, and a trailer for jigs and chatterbaits. I like to fish the smaller size with a 2/0 hook and the larger with 3/0. You'd be surprised how many fish this thing catches.

Comments: I agree with the reviews. The yum wooly bug is a better and cheaper version of the RI smallie beaver. This is the most effective smallmouth sight Fishing bait I have ever come across. I only throw one color, green pumpkin, and I promise you this bait will catch me 200-300 fish over the next month and a half. I fish it on a 3/0 Mustad Edge Grip Pin, 3/8 or 1/2 ounce tungsten and I never ever peg the sinker when Sight Fishing smallmouth nests...

Comments: I use these on a TR and on rugby jigs. Love them. The 2 tone colors have great belly flash.

Comments: Hands down my favorite finesse jig trailer. There are lots of similar baits in the general shape. These costs the least and very solid baits. Also works great texas rigged with a pegged weight. The wooly bug is nice and soft with great colors.

Comments: This is an amazing bait! I bought a few packs of the 3 inch ones for jig trailers and the action is amazing. I noticed while reeling in to recast the small "claws" actually quiver when you reel them in at a decently fast pace but just kind of flair out on twitches and hops. Didn't catch anything on them today, but no one really caught fish today. Only 4 teams out of six weighed fish and 1st had 2.44lbs with 2 fish, 2md (me) had 2.00lbs with one fish and the Big Bass, and 3rd only had 2 fish with 1.94lbs.
Only downside is the 3 inch baits are a little thin and so if you have a large molded keeper or wire keeper like that of the Strike King Hack Attack Swim Jigs, it really tears them up.

Comments: Grabbed some of these in "Bream" color in a discount bin when Gander Mountain was going out of business like four years ago. I'm usually pretty faithful to either the Sweet Beaver or D-Bomb, but I tried this the other day randomly and have caught multiple five pound class fish in a fairly pressured pond flipping grass. It's been out-fishing those other two baits. I wouldn't agree with the body being "thin" as noted above. The Bream color has some really good, natural blue flash in clear water. Great bait, will be buying a few more packs.

Comments: The largemouth just destroy this bait. I mostly throw it as a jig tralier and it works like a absolute charm. Love it!

Comments: Please pradco don't ever stop making this bait ..its as good as any beaver on the market but more durable and cheaper.. we just need a few more colors like bama magic and ghillie suit and elders magic .. flip it pitch it punch it jig trailer chatterbait trailer.. cut it in half and drop shot it it's almost exactly the same as a warning shot or SK half shell.. versatile durable awesome.. like John Murray said fish bite it ..I like it..

Comments: One of, if not my favorite, creature baits out there. Dependable & durable. I have just about all colors, but I've had the best luck with the 4" watermelon red flake, catching really nice bass in lakes from Missouri to Minnesota, Colorado to Arizona. Definitely one of the first baits I tie on to start a day of fishing.

Comments: Out fished all other soft baits . Also more durable than the KVD rodent. 3.25" in Bream.

Comments: I caught a couple of fish and it's a good bait but the body is to thin and it's hard to use with flipping hooks

Comments: Great bait, as Ian said, just as good as a sweet beaver and in my opinion A LOT more durable. Caught about 6 fish on one today and it still looked like i just rigged it up.
