Comments: These skirts are a BARGAIN! $2.99 for 5, and I think the quality is as good as any. I use 1/2 and 3/8 OZ Bitsy Flip jigs and when the original skirt is wore out I put a Black/Blue or Bluegill collored skirt on and they work AWESOME.

Comments: Got a couple of packs of the PB&J skirts to replace old brown rubber ones that I have on some brown jig heads, and was surprised to find that these skirts have a strong smell of gasoline, or some kind of petroleum, to them. I don't recall other silicone skirts I've used smelling like that. I was about to return them but then decided to soak them in some anise soap overnight. That took the smell away, but I feel I shouldn't have to do that to begin with. Z-Man needs to come up with a different formula so the skirts don't smell like that. Also, what looks like purple flake in the photo for this particular color actually looks blue in the water. Sort of disappointed about that as I thought it would be purple like in the pic. The skirts do flair out nicely, though, and give the jig a full profile.
