Great baitSome folks complain about the start up blade or different blade hunting action. BUT, they miss the point that is works best on BFS bait caster or finesse spinning reel. I agree with other reviews that is works great on stressed bass, but not when thrown on Med Heavy or Heavy Chatterbait rods. I used the TW EVO minimax, but like this better for finesse fishing.

Baby jackThis is a great bait. I fish this bait in ponds and creeks, and pressured lakes. This bait has a great profile, and great action. People complain about the blade being to small when the bait is literally designed to be a more subtle .

Why so much hate?This bait is almost fully identical to a standard jackhammer in action, thump, and performance. Idk if I got a good batch or if it’s only good with a 3.5 mooch minnow or what, but imo this bait is just as good, if not better than a jackhammer.

Great ProfileI really like the smaller blade option for those pressured fish. I like the hook too as small fish arent going to do me any good. Zman makes the best stuff. I throw the 1/4 on spin gear and the heavier models on baitcast gear.

Amazing lures!!!I cannot believe how great these lures are! My husband and I went fishing together and I out fished him the whole day with this one lure! I am amazed how cool they are. I am going to buy a bunch more of the colors to see how they work. Love these!!!

Crushed it todayThey were hitting my other baits but I wasn’t hooking up picked up my baby Jack after missing a bite and stuck that fish on the first cast. Caught 7 more and all them on the baby Jack and all chocked that was on 12/12/25

YOU HAVE TO FISH THIS RIGHTThis will roll and hunt once you snap it out of the weeds. This is NOT a good chatterbait for open water. I use it more as a jig in heavy grass, I use to use the mini max for that but this made much better.
