Overview
Designed by Bass Elite Series pros, Stephen Browning and Luke Clausen, the Z-Man Mag FattyZ is a scaled up version of the original Z Man 5” FattyZ. Featuring a thick solid body that tapers down into a bulbous tail, which allows the Mag FattyZ to produce an exaggerated quivering action with the slightest movement of the rod tip. The enlarged body of the Mag FattyZ can also easily hide the point and barb of a 5/0 flipping hook and makes it an ideal choice for flipping around cover, dragging along the bottom on Texas-rigs or on a magnum shaky head.
The Mag FattyZ is made from Z-Man’s Elaztech plastic, which is 10x tougher than standard soft plastic for unmatched durability. It also allows the Mag FattyZ to float up off the bottom while at rest for a more lifelike presentation. Elaztech plastic is infused with a healthy dose of salt for an added level of attraction as well. Available in a range of classic bass catching colors, the Z-Man Mag FattyZ is a go-to bait for when a big bite is needed.

Comments: These things are the deal. To make them float better and (in my opinion) make the colors look more natural, pull and stretch the worm out of the package so the salt falls out. Not only does it give the worm a more beat up, kinda textured outside look but it also make the worm float much better. I fished this worm in the June bug color Texas rigged with a sliding 1/4 bullet weight. Casting it out and just dragging and hopping this off the bottom landed me my PB of 7lbs 7oz. The fished absolutely inhaled the worm. I used the same worm for a week and a half also, so the durability is the best in the industry I've used thus far. Dont sleep on the mag fatty my friends

Comments: Shaky head with this is money. Just use it. Durable, tail is buoyant, try dipping it in garlic. Really good for bottom fish in the heat.

Comments: Shaky Head Magic. I love Z-Man soft plastic more than any brand. The elastic plastic last soooooo long. This on a shaky head had turned into my favorite technique which used to be a swim jig. I love this lure even wacky and texas but mostly shaky head and wacky. Try it out folks very durable.
