Designed by Japanese professional angler, Hata Pro, the Zappu PD Chopper Jig stands up firmly on the bottom in a natural 'standing' posture with an undulating tension-free fall that attracts bass effortlessly even without rod manipulation. A jig that's proven to be one of Lake Biwa's top producers since its debut in 2008, the PD Chopper Jig is developed with versatility in mind, being effective when used as a stand-up dragging jig or shallow water swimming jig.
Built using Zappu's 97% tungsten compound for extreme sensitivity, the semi-flat head design comes to rest in an upright position and still slips through cover while swimming through shallow waters. Equipped with a corkscrew bait keeper and standard bait keeper, anglers can take advantage of weedless 'Pile Driver' rigging around heavy cover or remove the keeper in favor of standard rigging when fishing open areas and light cover. Backed by Owner hooks and highly flared silicone skirts in distinct 'Oretachi' colors, the Zappu PD Chopper Jigs creates action without putting tension on the line to eliminate any unnatural presence that might alert fish.
