Overview
Providing exactly the right combination of bulk and finesse, the Zoom Z Craw Worm delivers a profile that will lure fish under any condition. Developed with key input from FLW Tour pro, Dan Morehead, who was cutting up different Zoom soft plastics and melting them together with a lighter to create the very first prototypes. Built with the body of Zoom’s Mag Finesse Worm and the tails of the Z Craw, the Zoom Z Craw Worm will produce a subtle waving action when worked slow and will also generate an enticing swimming action when using a steady retrieve, giving anglers the effectiveness of multiple baits in one. This combination allows anglers to fish the Zoom Z Craw Worm on any rig that you would traditionally fish with a worm or a craw and at any speed. Available in Zoom’s most popular and proven colors, the Zoom Z Craw Worm will show the fish something different and take the place of several other soft plastics in your tackle box.

Comments: Great multi use soft plastic bait. Works incredibly well on a stand up head but when the body gets worn out you can cut it down and use it as a finesse jig trailer providing the claws haven't been bitten off.

Comments: After hearing about the Zoom Z Craw I got the only color available - green pumpkin. Supposedly the number one color although around here the reds or blue blacks work best. After a very slow morning I tried the Zoom Z and caught a keeper right off the bat. By the next week I had found one bag of California 420, which have red flecks and caught a 4' gar, then a keeper later on. Last week I was sticking to the California 420 and caught a 10.1 pounder. Then I caught a few under 4' pounds. Those three weeks my buddie in the front of the boat caught two or three over three weeks. Now, the problem is finding one for sale. I can't wait to get some in my most productive colors - and hope I don't run out of my current stash.

Comments: Great plastic worm, offers a different option over a traditional swimming worm. The z-craw worm draws strikes for every kind of fish, especially in pressured lakes. I typically fish the legendary Stick Marsh, and do very well with this worm there. I do recommend a shorter version because anglers will miss a lot of fish with them, but the miss/hook up ration is one that I can live with for now. On my most recent trip, the trolling motor's battery died. The bait was enticing to the point where bass were swimming all the way to my anchored boat to eat the worm.

Comments: I love the Z Craw Worm. Used them on Okeechobee at the end of January as a different look for a traditional swimming worm and the bass ate it up. They ate the Ultra Vibe Speed Worm really well also. If I got a short strike which wasn't often I then had a perfectly good Mag Finesse Worm. Great option.

Comments: I like the look of the bait and so do the Bass. The problem that I'm running into is that the pinchers are getting torn off on short strikes and not landing the fish. Agree with the earlier comment that a shorter version would be better for this type of bait.

Comments: I read about these and tried on a whim and I've kinda forced myself to love these. First of all, I'm a huge fan of Zoom and used the classics for 25 years so I was excited to try it out. Sure enough, these things get you bit. They do have a large profile and are rather long so I have issues with short strikes often honestly but when a big one grabs it, it's game on. Perhaps Zoom will make a smaller shorter version, just an idea. The main problem I've suffered from is from time to time I throw too hard and have a backlash or line bite and the lure will stop suddenly and the craw flippers will literally fly off and the lure essentially becomes a trick worm. I know it's technically my fault but I expect a little more durability I guess. Other than that, it's a new staple in my tackle bag now. Show some bass something they haven't seen before and try it out on a tokyo rig. Perhaps you'll be pleasantly surprised.
