Overview

Stan Sloan's Zorro Rattlin Short Arm Aggravator Spinnerbait possibly delivers the most vibration of any other spinnerbait on the market today. The Short Arm Aggravator offers a double stainless steel weed guard and quality components. The Aggrevator's short arm provides more vibration than traditional longer arm spinnerbaits. Retrieve the Short Arm Aggrevator just beneath the surface to create a gurgling sound like a buzzbait.

Comments: I have used Zorro spinner baits for many years and needed to restock so I purchased a few from Tackle Warehouse. Yes, they caught a few fish but I was disappointed to see the blade quality was not the same as the originals I still have a couple of. What is shown on the Tackle Warehouse website shows the original style blades (not what was delivered in 2023). These new blades are lighter gauge, and they tarnish easily compared to my older Zorro spinnerbaits. This sure seems like another sad example of a company that starts out making premium products, builds a positive reputation, and then figures out ways to make them cheaper. That's a downward spiral.

Comments: Got two of these from TW today with my Spring fishing order. Oooh, these are not the quality I expected. The hook is strangely blunt on one of them. Both have terrible paint jobs. Wire seems low quality. Strange unnecessary weedguard also. Going to return them tomorrow.

From: Chris: Pennsylvania 2/10/22

Comments: Absolute snakehead killer, but they are almost single-use. The northern snakehead is a lure killer and these are no exception. The thump of the blade drives them crazy, but they'll ball them into a useless mess of wire.

Comments: by far the best spinner bait I've used for pike & bass. The vibration is incredible on the 5/8oz & is why I keep buying them. the last couple orders have had smaller blades on the 5/8oz & it doesn't make nearly the same vibration & catches far fewer fish. I don't know if they changed it on purpose or its just a miss ship.

Comments: I believe this is the brand and style of spinnerbait that was used to catch the 9lb+ smallmouth on Center Hill Lake, in 2003. I've used these baits at night & their vibration is incredible. Many of my fishing buddies use these spinnerbaits on Norris Lake for night time, post spawn smallies.

Comments: Finally gave these Zorro Spinner baits from Tackle Warehouse a workout this am. Aside from the blades being slightly tarnished right out of the wrapper, I was extremely impressed with the quality of these (less than $5) lures. They have as much, if not more backbone than any $7-9 spinner I generally use.

Comments: Without a doubt my all time best producing night time bait. Have landed numerous NJ bass to 8lbs at night on this bait.  I'll even add a #4 colorado blade and bend the arm out a tad (for clearence)for even more arm numbing vibration.   To prevent the dreaded arm fouling. Just learn to stop the bait a few feet short.  It will straighten itself out and barely ever tangle.  I fish braid direct, and if i don't do this..Especially with the larger blade mod. It will foul every time.  The baits are fairly durable too. I'll catch dozens of fish before breaking it due to retuning. The paint holds up no different than any other baits. Although, many heads are just bare lead now after fish abuse...At first I was hesitant about the non wide gap hook. But never had an issue. (I don't use stinger hooks) and it has a very high hookup ratio.  Rips through soft cover very well. Fouls less than many standard arm length baits.  Only negative...For the coin....a tied or wire tied skirt out of the box would be nice. Hope this helps. Great bait!!

Comments: This is my all time favorite night time spinnerbait. Both long and short arm are great.

From: Tim: TX

Comments: always tangles line , every other cast . the long arm is way better.

Comments: I've caught several good smallmouth on this blade after dark and overall it's a good lure.  However, the colorado blade has a tendancy to loopover the line pretty frequently - I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the short arm or not.
