2nd Place - Jacob Wheeler - 55lb - 15oz - $45,000
Wheeler started out with a Crush City Mooch Minnow in gizzard shad with 1/8-ounce VMC Redline Tungsten Swimbait Head. For the final two periods, he choose a Rapala DT-6 in mule. Jacob also caught some flipping with a Crush City Bronco Bug. A neko rig, with a Crush City Janitor worm on a 1/16-ounce nail weight and Size 1 straight shank hook was another successful bait for him.
3rd Place - Marshall Robinson - 37lb - 10oz - $35,000
Marshall's two key baits were a 5-inch Yamamoto Senko in green pumpkin and watermelon shades fished on a Size 1 or 2 Gamakatsu G-Finesse Stinger Wacky/Neko Hook with a small nail weight. For drop-shotting, he used a 4.5- and 6-inch Roboworm Straight Worms in margarita mutilator, morning dawn and oxblood with a 1/8- or 3/16-ounce drop-shot weight.
4th Place - Mark Daniels Jr. - 36lb - 2oz - $30,000
Mark went with a Neko rig, a Crush City Janitor, or Zoom Trick Worm, rigged on a Size 2 Owner Weedless Sniper Finesse Neko Hook in various green pumpkin shades.
5th Place - Brent Ehrler - 30lb - 4oz - $25,000
Ehrler started with a Yamamoto Scope Shad in Tennessee shad on a 1/4-ounce Buckeye Lures G-Stroll Jig Head. He also caught some on a Yamamoto Senko in green pumpkin purple, 3/32 Ark Tungsten Nail Weight, and a No. 1 Gamakatsu G-Finesse Weedless Stinger Wacky Hook for his Neko rig. Brent also used a 6-inch Roboworm Straight Worm in morning dawn with a 1/0 Roboworm Rebarb hook and 1/4-ounce Ark Tungsten drop-shot weight for his drop-shot. After the Scope period, He switch to a Lucky Craft 1.5 DD DRS in TO craw with upgraded #4 Gamakatsu G-Finesse Trebles.
6th Place - Bryan Thrift - 27lb - 4oz - $23,000
Thrift found success with a Damiki Tremor 65 lipless, a SPRO lipless, a Berkley Frittside crankbait, a Damiki Abyss 90 jerkbait and a Megabass Vision ONETEN. Brian noted "I had 20 rods on my deck and probably caught fish on 19 of them."
7th Place - Jeff Sprague - 24lb - 6oz - $22,000
Sprague started by throwing a prototype Lake Fork Lures finesse worm. To pick things, he switced to a Norman Deep Little N in a fire craw color. Jeff went all-in on the cranking bite and hardly used his allotted forward-facing time.
8th Place -Matt Becker - 23lb - 3oz - $21,000
Matt used a jighead minnow, either a 4-inch Yamamoto Scope Shad in violet flash or a 5-inch Deps Sakamata Shad, before switching to a Yamamoto Senko in the mowed grass color on a Size 2 TroKar TK137 finesse wacky hook.
9th Place - Alton Jones Jr. - 19lb - 8oz - $20,500
Alton used a 3/8-ounce Decoy jighead and Crush City Mooch Minnow in shad colors. He also found success using two different spinnerbaits, a 1/2-ounce with double Indiana blades and a 3/8-ounce with a Colorado blade, both were white with some strands of green in the skirt, and a Geecrack Jack Master swimbait as a trailer.
10th Place - Jake Lawrence - 18lb - 10oz - $15,900
Lawrence fished a 3-inch Yamamoto Scope Shad in stealth ice out on a 1/4-ounce jighead. He also skipped a Big Bite Baits Nekorama in green pumpkin with a 1/16-ounce weight and a 2/0 Owner Jungle Wacky Hook.
