Comments: Sooo, I do a ton of wacky rig fishing, specifically using the 5" Senko. No surprise here. Prior to using this Gamakatsu G-Finesse Stinger hook, I used Aaron Martins G-Finesse drop shot hooks, Gamakatsu split/drop shot hooks, and Gamakatsu Finesse Wide gap hooks. My hook up and land ratio was about 60%. Fish somehow were throwing the bait. Since I began using the Gamakatsu G-Finesse Stinger hook my hook up and land ratio is now 100%. I can't explain why it works so well, it just does. I have not lost a fish, 30 plus fish and counting. The only con I have about the Gamakatsu G-Finesse Stinger hook is actually a design improvement. A Senko, rigged with a VMC crossover ring, heat shrink tubing, or o-ring still slips over the hook eye and up your line. Thereafter, pulling the Senko down, back over the hook eye is next to impossible. Gamakatsu could go one design better and put a large barb in the hook, near the eye, in the reverse direction. A simple fix that would stop baits riding up over the hook eye, up the line while fighting a fish.

Comments: Used these hooks exclusively for all my Neko and Wacky rigging this season. Only recall losing one fish this year while having these tied on. I use them from size 4 to 1. I love them and would recommend them!
