Lowrance

Lowrance began in Joplin, Missouri in 1957 when avid fisherman and divers Carl Lowrance and his sons Darrell and Arlen saw the need for an instrument that would allow them to know what lay below the surface of the water. The designed the world's first high-frequency sonar for sport fishing and boating. From flashers to paper charts, liquid crystal graphing, the advent of GPS, through cutting edge HDS and StructureScanHD, Lowrance has been on the cutting edge of technology, helping anglers navigate and find fish and fish habitat.
