Comments: Nice Rod-excellent price no doubt...purchased the 7 heavy and found it to be great for SHAKEY HEAD of all things [ Hook Set + and Backbone ++ ] I would say the Heavy is little more on the MH+ side  good sensitivity  No Hook Keeper (thumbs down there). Satisfied Customer Here

Comments: Really solid rod. I got the 7 ft heavy and its great for frogging. Wish it had a little more tip so that it would load up with casting lighter baits, but I know that's not really what a heavy action rod is designed for. Nonetheless, its incredible light, sensitive, and powerful. Will have to pick up the medium heavy.

From: Isaac: Lynchburg, VA 9/2/19

Comments: I bought a 7 foot heavy about a year or two ago. Didn't want to write a review till I really tested it for a while. Here 's what I can say: -standard price range for 30 ton graphite -guides are super strong, but not beefy or heavy. They simply have very few weak points -standard fast-action bend. (at least on the 7 heavy). This unfortunately means no super-soft tip, but also it is much more durable -great rod to step into the world of advanced-level gear -foam/eva is quality made. does not warp, expand/contract, or rip over time -NO hook holder. some may like this, just thought I would point it out. -Overall great rod

From: Ben: St. Charles 6/14/19

Comments: Amazing rod for the money. The 7' Heavy is my go-to for any flipping situation in the ponds I fish. Without a doubt best rod for the price, outfishes my Mojo Bass and my Lews Tp-1

From: Virginia 9/28/17

Comments: I LOVE THIS ROD!!!! I own the 7' heavy and it's my dedicated frog rod, perfect tip for frogging, plenty of backbone to winch em out of the nasty stuff. It's lightweight, sensitive, and an all around great feeling rod. A real bargain at $100. I've ripped 7 pounders out of thick weeds relatively easy with this rod, and it's held up very well. I am switching all my Abu and St Croix sticks out for irods. Great rods!

From: David: Ohio 8/20/17

Comments: Like the review below I found this rod to be one of my best all round baitcasters.

From: Anthony - Illinois 5/12/17

Comments: Wow got the 7 foot heavy and super versatile put some braid and a shimano citica and it cast baits super well u can easily cast a 3/8 oz lure and 3/4 oz. It also casts the 1/4 oz lures without splicing to the side just not real far. It is super light and sensitive I fished this thing for five hours 3 days in a row with out haveing my hand and wrist fatigue. I use this for chatterbaits, jigs, spinnerbaits, t-rigged soft plastics, rattle traps, and even square bills. Handles them all well I don't know how anyone has broke one of these rods a manufacturers defect maybe but if they had a crank rod in this series I would definitely get one.

From: Anthony 4/16/17

Comments: Thought I would love this rod because it was affordable... had the 7'5" H magic stick and broke it clean in half the fourth time i fished with it... I was throwing one of those cheap matzuo minnow swimbaits, 6" 1 3/8oz and it popped in almost the middle of the rod... Never had that happen with any rod before and I know that definitely wasn't overloading it.. most likely not gonna get another cause I can't rely on results like that

From: Nick: PA 3/28/17

Comments: I love this rod! Really sensitive and matches great with my Daiwa Zillion Tws I paired it up with. The only thing is I'm a dummy and didn't think check to see if it had a hook keeper( I guess I just suspected it had one and didn't notice there wasn't one) .It doesn't really matter because all you have to do is hook your lure to your reel. It's definitely worth it for only being around 100 dollars! Try one!

From: Matthew: Alabama 1/28/17

Comments: Probably one of the best rods for the money. I've owned denalis, carbonlites, omen blacks etc & this rod is definitely by far the best rod I've owned. Don't hesitate to buy one of these. Only thing is there is no hook keeper but you can just put a rubber one on. Can't wait to get a Genesis 2.

From: Brandon: Orlando, FL 9/14/16

Comments: These are decent rods, I fish the upper Chesapeake Bay where dock fishing is a must. I treat these rods bad. So for around $100 you get a great rod & if you break a eye just get replaced. I boat flip almost every fish, smack piling starting to get the perfect pitch cast flip. I have 7'4" 7'5" and 7'6" love them all. I use them all and proud owner of about 14 of those models.

From: Doug: Sparrows Point, MD 11/24/15

Comments: Unbelievable rod for an even better price. The Irod Fiber IS BETTER than any competitors $200+ rod. The Fiber is light as a feather and the feel is unmatched. Do yourself a favor and try one, it will change your fishing forever.

From: Dave: Tampa, FL 9/21/15

Comments: This rod is the best rod for price. It is sensitive, well balanced & very comfortable to fish with. I have the 7'4 paired up with the Lews tournament lite & the combo is amazing. I love the semi micro guides & the colors. Irod makes amazing products for the price. If you are looking for a rod in this price range, get an irod.

From: Jacob: Gilbert, AZ 9/10/15

Comments: rod, the best rod in the market. I have lot of them in genesis II and air, and i just bought the FRED MAGIC STICK in fiber.. Just bought and went immediately fishing.. Such a GREAT ROD, for an unbelievable price. It's light, it's well balanced, throws everything from jig to frog and big spinners and crank.. POWERFULl, and tough and they looks great. The price 100 dollars.. THANK YOU MATT please keep going! The best. Super rod

From: Eros: Milan, Italy 7/22/15

Comments: If your looking for a tournament level rod for an entry level price, this is your rod. I have several of these, caught a lot of fish, and never had one complaint. Matt knows what he's doing.

From: Don: Benton, KY 6/17/15

Comments: Excellent rod for the price. Extremely sensitive and strong. Been using it to vertically jig for walleyes and small swim baits for smallies. Will recommend to anyone

From: Scott: Lake Erie, OH 6/17/15

Comments: Awesome rod. Great price and great rod. Used one in a tournament at the delta and must've caught around 100-150 bass on it and it held up fantastically. Can't wait to get more. Great rod Matt.
