Responsible for nearly all of his weighed in fish, including his 10-lb bruiser on Day 1, Velvick used the BV 3D to maintain a substantial lead over the rest of the field. Jerry Rago designed this bait especially for Velvick and Skeet Reese for Clear Lake, and Velvick provided key input, as well as, his name to the bait (BV-Byron Velvick). Featuring incredible detail compared to most other swimbaits, it's a 3D swimbait in a previously 2D world. Comments: This is my favorite soft swimbait, the light Hitch color works at almost every clear water lake. If you want to swim a little deeper stick in a couple of nail weights.
