Comments: this is indeed the Cadillac of reels, i' love this reel, and i' have one suggestion to you guys out there, up grade your reel add one or two more washers spacers and you will see and feel the different, this reel was design to fish the Florida keys swans not our lakes but if you are willing to buy additional washers for it you may have more then yes one looking reel, i' use my for salt water fishing love it .

Comments: i love my calais cl200a! definetly one of shimanos best baitcasting reels! its incedibly smooth very durable and has a great look to it! however i wouldnt suggest this reel for flipping or froggin in or around heavy cover with it due to its lighter drag. but all around no doubt this reel is worth the money! (pairs up nicely with a kistler helium LTA rod!)

Comments: The Calais is one of the best reels i' have among many good reels. this reel was produce to fish the Florida reef, that is good i' would like to see a west coast Calais with plenty of drag. I love my Calais, its one of the best I have to cast for bass, and long distance this reel is the Cadillac of reels one of my best, no questions ask.
