Overview
***TRAILERS NO LONGER INCLUDED***
Now offered in a bite-sized 1/4oz version, the Z Man Chatterbait Mini is an excellent choice for light tackle, clear water, and finicky fish. Still delivering the same intense vibration and action of the orignal Chatterbait, it combines the flash of a spinnerbait, the vibration of a crankbait and the snag resistance of a jig. The hexblade serves as a weedguard, while creating the intense vibrating action that makes the Chatterbait Mini so effective. Extremely versatile, the Chatterbait Mini can be worked in shallow or out deep, and everywhere in between. For a different look, you can even remove the skirt and trailer and rig up a soft plastic jerkbait. This combination works great on schooling fish. Available in a variety of colors, the Z Man Chatterbait Mini is perfect for down-sizing your presentation. A super tough ElaZtech mini split tail trailer is also included.
The Chatterbait Mini's blade size is comparable to the size of a nickel.

Comments: These are great for fishing shallower ponds where the average depth is only 4-8 feet. The lighter weight makes it easier to keep just above the weeds. Whereas if you're trying to fish a 3/8 or 1/2 oz you are battling the weeds all day, or you have to burn it so fast to keep it up, the fish doesn't even have time to react. I've caught some nice bass on these 1/4 oz minis. A lot of 3+ pounders. A couple of 5-pounders, and one that was 6.25. I've only been using them for about 8-9 months. Before that, I was always using the heavier ones.

Comments: Best pond chatterbait. The colors are solid and the hook is good. For the price, it can't be beaten.

Comments: Ran into a bind after losing almost all of my 1/4oz TW custom CB that i had. I went through all of my gear lookin for 1/4s and found 1 with a black silicone band and wondered where the hell it came from. It looks to be the same size hook as a 1/4 original with the same head. To me it doesn't seem to fish the same I think the original for whatever reason has more vibe to it the this mini does. I don't understand why they make a mini. The original comes in 1/4 oz and the size is really close if not the same. Only thing i can think of is the blade may be a different metal which would account for the different rhythm and action when you compare this to the original.

Comments: It's a great, effective bait. The problem is there isnt anything keeping your trailer on the hook, and for that reason i constantly have to reposition my keitech trailer after it slides down the hook

Comments: they are great with a zoom split tail trailer and they are great in the fall when the shad are popping and they are small.

Comments: Used this bait this weekend out on Lake Nacogdoches, landed three fish one being 7.2 lbs. Bait has sieze to amaze me on how many fish will destroy this thing

Comments: this chatterbait can't be beaten had nothing but success with it takes best of both worlds a crank bait and a jig and when the bass take it there is no second thoughts if its a fish because they slam it and go on a pretty good fight its like the fish goes into overdrive with this lure!

Comments: Can not beat this bait for pond fishing, cant even begin to count the number of fish I caught on this bait. From 1/2 pound to 5 pound, they will slam this thing.
