Comments: I bought this rod last week and it arrived on Friday. I took it with me on the kayak the next morning, and we are off to a really good start. I paired it with a Penn Fathom low profile baitcasting reel that I bought from Tackle Warehouse a few weeks ago, and it didn't disappoint. I used swimbaits and the bite was really on last Saturday. I caught 10 calico bass with swimbaits on this rod, and really enjoyed how it performed. It is very sensitive and very strong, as I got caught in the kelp a few times and really flexed the rod while trying to free my swimbait. I had an incredible day (caught another 8 fish with a 2nd rod I brought) and I'm definitely taking my "Lucky 13" rod out with me on the next trip. Also, Tackle Warehouse, as always, has great packaging and quick shipping. Thanks guys!

Comments: These rods are sick some of the reviews said they break easy but i have no idea what they are talking about I have landed plenty of big bass with it and also caught a 47 in muskie with it if you are looking for a nice light sensitive rod look no further

Comments: I'm a Croix/Loomis, Daiwa/Shimano fan so when I didn't expect much from what I figured to be a gimmicky brand that knew how to use social media to its benefit. After a few years with a Muse and an OB3, I can say there are some flaws IMO which expected from a young brand but for the most part they make a good rod. The blanks are good and the components are more then serviceable. The sensitivity is as good or better then most rods at the price point and while I wouldn't call these rods super light they aren't heavy and they balance well. It may sound nit picky, but my biggest gripe with the OB3s is the thickness of the handle. If the handles were thinner it would make them feel more manageable and ergonomic which can actually make the rod feel lighter. The other issue is the metal locking nut which works great, but if you want to keep your reel foot scratch free you have to use Teflon tape or rubber grip material to protect the foot, especially if its a magnesium framed reel. Other then that the OB3s have impressed me which isn't easy. They blow The SLX and Tatula XTs out of the water. They even edge out Croixs SC2 lines like the BassX, Triumph and Premier which is hard for me admit being a big SC fanboy. The powers are accurate and I really like the actions. I would bet 99 of 100 breakages are due to previous damage and or operator error. Mine should have broken at least 2 times when fish have cleared a sleuth gate and fallen 12 feet down a spillway right at my feet while my drag was locked down. Even if they do break 13 has excellent customer service, even if you shut the rod in a car door you only have to pay for shipping to replace it. Awful hard to beat for the price.

Comments: I snapped this rod on a pike that was literally 12" long. It was brand new and it was the first fish I set the hook on. I also had the drag on my reel backed off so it would give a bit when I set the hook. Tackle Warehouse was nice enough to give me a refund but I do not recommend buying this rod or anything from 13 Fishing.

Comments: I've had Gen 2 and Gen 3 and they are both top notch. I like the split grips more on Gen 3 and like the fact they offer them in full grips now for different anglers. I have broken a couple, and both were user error. 13 Fishing has a great warranty service to replace them. $55 to replace one of these even if it's your fault for being a bone head. Great price point too!

Comments: This rod is a freaking hammer. I paired this with a Shimano SLX XT (Don't tell me it is wrong to cross brands) and it is absolutely stunning! If you are thinking about buying this, just do it. Don't worry about the money because it is completely worth it! I caught a 7 pounder at my tournament within the first hour of using this. This is a great rod from the sensitivity to the looks of this, it can't be outperformed, and that's a fact, Jack.

Comments:I'm like the guy before, been trying the Omen's since the first design (loved those, number 2 wasn't my absolute fav). But the overall refinement and feel of this one is out of this world compared to the other two. Have the 74 model, and it's honestly starting to take over the spot my Zodias has had on deck as the first to grab. It just feels so right in hand.

Comments:First day on the water with brand new rod and handle just snapped after probably 5 casts, avoid these rods if you don't want to be left frustrated and mad on a trip that should be everything but.

Comments: I've owned all 3 versions of the Omen rods. They are all quality but the 3rd gen is my favorite. Light weight, very sensitive and good ergonomics. They also improved the guides on this one which needed to be done. It's hard to beat at the price point. Lastly, I've worked with their warranty on several occasions and they stand behind their products 1000%! Great company and I have all the confidence in the world in them if I ever have an issue which is important when buying anything.

Comments: I dont know why they made the grips so thick on these new omens, and the hook keeper is in the worst possible position. I'm gonna end up selling it.

Comments:This rod has come a long way from the 1st generation. It is all the looks and feel of a high dollar rod with a price anyone can afford. Very sensitive rod with the right tip to launch your bait yet still has plenty of backbone to haul in the big girls. I highly recommend this rod!!!

Comments:I recently purchased the 6' 10 for a jerk bait rod. Light and great sensitivity for those slack line bites. Also loads up nice. Will definitely be purchasing a couple more of these rods!

Comments: Picked up the 7'1 med heavy as sort of a do-everything rod. I've been very impressed at this price point with how light and sensitive it is, to be honest. I've thrown swim jigs, done some light pitching, and in a pinch threw a square bill on it (among other things). Its worked extremely well for what I was looking for and I will definitely be buying more in Spring when lakes melt here up north.

Comments:The Juice, I have a 71 H that I use for a Football Jig rod. I really like it. The tip section is about 10-15% of the blank and the transition is smooth when I load up.

Comments:Amazing rod! I bought the 7"3 MH for jigs. It's very light and sensitive, but still has a great back bone to get big fish from far and deep. Easily my new favorite jig rod.

Comments:Great rod the extra eyes help cast your bait out there and you can feel every thing you come across on the bottom.
