Old school east Texas trapperBill Lewis was on the money with the original. The new hammer trap got out fished 10/1 against original. Size was bigger on the original. I'm not saying there's not a situation for it I just can't get it to do what I can do with Original.

Bill Lewis come on!After all this time Bill Lewis puts out a new Trap, I had to try it. Went on a tear early spring about every 3rd cast and quite a few back to back. I did this numerous times.

Solid baitI am a trap freak. I have a zillion of them. This bait is a great addition to my collection. Cool wobble, big thump, and gets bit. Buy one to try, then order a few more after you see how dope they are. Shout out to ole Grae Buck for turning me on to them.

Catches BigZZZThis lure is ready to go right out of the package and gives the fish a look that they aren't as accustomed to. When everyone else is throwing standard trap baits give this one a try and you won't be disappointed. The action is different in the best way possible and it rips through the grass like butter. Also, I'm not sure what it is about it, but the sound and vibration has just triggered bigger bites for me. My favorite colors are the Guacamole and the Chrome Blue Splatter Back.

ThumperThis sucker thumps so hard you can feel it in the handle and the fish are very interested by it. Had good luck running it over submerged grass just ticking the top. Has a nice shimmy on the fall. Walleye like them as well.

Silver black backNo matter what other lures I was using I never caught a bass until I went back to this lure. For 2 days this lure was myh main catching lure. Sharp hooks never had a bass come off.
