Comments: My buddy and I went out on the Susquehanna River the other day fishing for smallmouth bass. We used swimbaits, ned baits, hair jigs, etc. with no success. The sun came out, a breeze picked up, we put on Bill Lewis rattle traps and caught 5. They are still a great lure.

Comments: I have been using the Blue Shiner pattern as my go to trap this season. I have been throwing it since early spring though mid summer, at this point, in just about every water condition you can imagine & I keep catching fish with it. I have used varied rates of retrieve with this lure & have found it to have great action with both quick & slower rates. This is a great bait with great versatility.
