A must have in your rod lockerI decided to order a cashion rod to try out before this years season starts and I am in love with the quality. Every hookset near about throws bass in the boat, all while being sensitive enough to feel everything in the bottom with a shakey head. Will not be surprised if it is my most used rod this year, and hope to be able to have a rod locker full of cashion rods one day.

Blank is great, rod needs improvement.I wanted to love this rod, it's not my first cashion or Icon. I've owned this rod for a little under two years, I fish from a kayak so I'm not pretending a babied this rod. Long story short, as mentioned above, the epoxy work is not great. So far I've had two guides completely come off the rod and the epoxy holding the handle to the blank separated itself from the blank so the handle free spins around the rod. I still use it, as it was expensive and it feels so nice, but the epoxy definitely needs work.

Avoid like the plagueNot a bad rod but I didn’t even get a year out of mine, snapped clean in half on a light hook set on a finesse underspin. Now they want 90 dollars PLUS 35 additional dollars to ship it (they don’t tell you that). There are so many other companies out there that have multiple year warranties that don’t charge you anything.

Chatterbait rod - no braid! Was excited to receive the 7'1" MH Icon Chatterbait rod. Come to find out, it comes with very, very tiny guides. No matter what knot I tied, it would not pass through smoothly. Called Cashion, and the rep said they "do not recommend using this rod with braid/leader" - it's meant for fluoro or mono. They hooked me up with the Crews series 7'3" MH moderate, which has normal guides (called the "Swim Jig Rod).

Amazing RodI've tried over 30 brands of rods around this price point because I love trying new stuff and finding the best out there. Most of my arsenal at this point consists of Dobyns and Ark (and several other brands such as Daiwa, Phenix, etc.) And this Cashion Icon is my favorite of them all. It is very light and balances well with the Zillion I put on it. It has a very crisp action and the craftsmanship is amazing. And as a bonus its 100% American made by a great group of people. I will be getting more. If you've been thinking about trying one, DO IT!

Great rod for the priceCashion Icons are an excellent value. Pros: They have very good sensitivity. Hold up well, especially the handle still looks new compared to Winn, Cork or Eva., Microguides feel to me to improve sensitivity and good and true actions. Decent balance. Great lifetime warranty, but haven’t had to use it. Cons: Got a couple of rods with a little too much epoxy on guide doesn't matter performance wise but just doesn’t look perfect. Very boring reel seat. Liked the Elites reel seats better than Icon .

Comments: Was in the market for a bfs Rod . Was having a hard time finding a one piece rod. TW was able to help me out with couple of options. I got the Icon BFS 7Light and oh boy! Finesse machine light, comfortable, and a very good looking rod. Weightless wacky to micro jigs. I been very surprised. Might grab me a couple more Icons

Comments: My first Cashion rod and I am impressed. The BFS 6'10 ML is absolutely money for ned rigs and small swimbaits. I've even used it for small jerkbaits as well and it handles them great. But it shines with a light wire hook/jighead and 6 to 8lb test fluoro with your fav ned plastics. A great tip to cast light lures with a bfs reel but has the backbone to move them away from cover if needed. I have to say this rod is a home run. Well done Cashion, well done.

Comments: I love these rods for their excellent sensitivity. They are such great rods for senkos and shakey head baits. You can feel the slightest touch all through the rod.

Comments:  I bought Icon worm/jig 7 Feet MH. I paired up with Daiwa Tatula SV TW. I use this rod for spinnerbait, weightless fluke, and worm/senko for all single hooks. It has a very good tip to cast the lightweight lures and good backbone for setting the hook. I like the unsanded blank rods. It is very sensitive. Last week I was fishing at night and I broke the rod tip guide. I called Cashion and Ben took care of the problem right away. My favorite rod is the Made in USA Cashion. I will add medium and heavy rods soon. Thank you TW and Cashion.

Comments: I received my Cashion chatterbait rod a few days ago and it's an amazing rod.  Very sensitive and very light weight.  I love cashion rods and will be buying lots more.

Comments: I have been thinking of trying out a Cashion Rod for a while. Decided to order one of these 7' MH/Fast Icon Worm and Jig rods.  This thing is super impressive.  Very light, the grips are extremely comfortable and bottom contact sensitivity is great. My only complaint is that one of the guides had a bit of a weird bump on the epoxy, but no big deal.  Also, the material on the butt of the rod didn't look like had enough epoxy to keep it in place very good and longevity may be an issue.  I did like it so much that I ordered a 2nd one in 7'3" MH/ Fast. That one however disappointed in the craftmanship department. Very sloppy epoxy work around the reel nut and several visible fat scratches on the handle underneath the epoxy. The rod builder still decided to use this damaged blank and covered it up with epoxy.  Not acceptable on a $200 rod so I sent that one back.  These could be killer rods, with sensitivity and feel better than Shimano Zodias (my
opinion), but craftmanship is questionable.  I really like these rods but will wait until they perfect their epoxy work on these new models before considering another one.
