Comments: I have been using these since the 70's. Fished them a lot on Toledo Bend. A very good subtle bait that just flat out catches fish. This is NOT your typical walk the dog bait so don't try to fish it that way. It is more of a snap/pause style bait. I think fish are getting used to seeing heavy commotion baits, that's why this bait works so well. An excellent schooling bait or just fished anywhere a softer top water approach is needed.

Comments: I value simplicity in topwater baits and the "howdy" is about as basic as it gets. Out of the package, a great lure, but adding a feathered rear treble just makes it even more magical. A genuine big fish bait, worked correctly! Great to see an "old school bait" still around.
