Junk rodsThis med-extra fast is like a noodle. Like a lite rod with moderate action. Micro guides again? I owned 1 daiwa rod in my life and i decided to try them since its been over 15 years, nope. Daiwa in America has never changed, junk rods in all their line ups and series. If you want good rods - Shimano $100 and up. The heavy Clarus for frog rod, glass intenza for moving baits. The intenza lineup fishes better than any high end Dobyns.

Go up a poweraJust held these in store and while they feel great even compared to the old fuego, they are extremely light in power. Go up at least 1 power in comparison to the old fuego and most other rods. I will also say the handle is very long but I thought this led to a nice balance
