Overview
Combining Daiwa’s premiere rod technologies with the input of Elite Series anglers, the Daiwa Tatula Elite AGS Spinning Rods are designed with updated features to provide tournament-caliber performance while increasing lightness and sensitivity. Built using a special micro-pitch rod manufacturing technology that adds pressure to the blank during the heating process, each SVF Nano-Plus rod blank retains high strength using less resin to make them 5% lighter than previous generations.
Representing the lightest Tatula Elite offering to date, the entire series is now furnished with Daiwa’s flagship carbon fiber AGS guides which are 40% lighter than standard Fuji guides to deliver incredible handling with finesse techniques. Finished with premium cork or EVA split handle grips based on the input of each angler, the Daiwa Tatula Elite AGS Spinning Rods transmit subtle bites and bottom composition with lightweight and ergonomically friendly custom Air Sensor reel seats.

Comments: New to Drop Shot fishing and decided to try it out with the 7'1" Med-Fast Ehrler rod. I am really glad I bought this rod as it is super sensitive and I already have caught a couple decent LMB. I was also able to feel everything with this rod and it is super light.

Comments: I have been on a three year pursuit of the perfect hair jig rod. One that won't break the bank for a very specialized technique that is built with the right components and action to throw really light fluff baits. Well, I picked up the 7'6" Corey Johnson Hair Jig rod and got to spend some time with it on the water the past three weeks and can honestly say it is one of the best hair jig rods I have ever fished. Incredibly light, even with a 4000 size reel on it, with the right tip for casting 1/8 oz and 3/32 oz hair jigs. I hooked and landed several fish over 4 lbs and the action on the rod is perfect. To be clear, this rod is rated as a medium, and in reality it is "barely" a medium light. Truly on the lighter side of medium light. That said, everything else about it is aces and I would highly recommend for any smallmouth enthusiast who routinely throws hair jigs for big smallies. The search is over. This one is a keeper.
