Comments: I've been using the 867 pretty regularly for a couple months, it's become one of my favorites for hard swimbaits. Throws 2-7oz comfortably which covers a large variety of baits. I prefer this longer handle length compared to most of the other dobyns swimbait rods, it allows you to get great leverage for casting. Very parabolic. Personally I have 5 dobyns SB rods and no issues with any of them.

Comments: I own two. They no longer go in my boat or kayak. I stopped using them after casting off a Battleshad 9.0 and Deps 250 in the same day. Could it have been the line? Maybe. Switched that reel without changing the line to a Leviathan rod and threes Deps, Working Class Zero, Hinkle, Phoney Frog, Hog Farmer and all my other big baits and never lost a one. The difference was using a rod made for big baits instead of a rod falsely rated for them that will whip around like a Willow branch on a cast. Check out some of the reviews on YouTube. The California guys with smaller channels don't mind giving honest feedback. These rods are for more in the 1-4oz. range and for the price you can buy two Daiwa swimbait rods that will perform as well.

Comments: I mainly fish big baits and let me tell you these are the best 2 rods on the market for big baits. The rods aren't super expensive and they straight up have power.
