SolidI've landed multiple pike over 40 inches and tons of striped bass in the 8-12 pound range in heavy river current with this rod. It's held up great for 4 years.

Best Budget Swimbait Setup. If you’re looking to get into big baits and don’t want to break the bank this rod is tough to beat. Grab the 806, a Cardiff 300, and you’re off to the races. These rods play a little bit lighter than advertised so personally I cap it around 6oz even though it’s rated 2-8, but it can pretty much handle any type of bait you want to throw in that 2-6oz range. Super comfortable in hand. Loads up extremely well. Has held up with zero issues. I’ve been really happy with it. Great rod.

MatthewI had an 806 fury and it was stolen. Buying a other one. They're great and I'm rough on stuff. Hurt worse them getting the komodo ss 200 and deos 250 but got another 806 coming soon

Dobyns 795 furyFor the money can't be beat have caught numerous 4 to 5 lb fish and had no issues, even when boat flipping them. This rod has super good feel and you can impart a lot of action with them. Their warranty is awesome too so if something happens to it get it taken care of

Great swimbait rod at any price.I tried trying to throw glides on a xxh flipping stick thinking that all heavy rods are the same. Boy was I wrong! The 795 fury totally opened up the world of swimbaits for me and allowed me to cast and "work" lures like I saw on youtube. More importantly, working the lures properly equated to more bites! I've since hooked into and had to quickly bank flip up to 6lb 7oz bass on big glidebaits and the dobyns never let me down. It's a lot of rod for the money!

Great beginner rodBought one for my first big swimbait setup and its been really good. Throw both hard and soft cause why not. Caught a 13 lb and an 11 northern snakehead back to back. Felt really good to fight on that rod paired with a daiwa tatula 300. Ive even accidentally slammed it in a door and all that happened was one of the guides bent. Don't listen to that other guys 1 star. If you got a faulty rod just hit up the warranty.
