Built on the same platform as the highly successful Dobyns Swimbait Rod line-up, the Dobyns Mike Bucca Bull Shad Series Casting Rods feature an ultra sensitive high modulus graphite blank and Kevlar wrapping that is incredibly balanced and splined correctly to give anglers unmatched performance. They are also built with fast actions, but on the slower side of fast, making them excellent casting swimbait rods that are ideal for jointed hard baits and glide baits with treble hooks.
Fitted with top quality components from end-to-end, the Dobyns Mike Bucca Bull Shad Series Casting Rods are equipped with Sea Guide’s XO Guide system that is incredibly durable, lightweight, and improves the overall balance of the rods. Comments: Caught my first bass on this rod, around 4lbs, just a few days ago on an arashi storm glide and it did amazing. It pinned the fish so well that it took me a bit with pliers to get the fish unhooked. This rod is very sensitive and for a swimbait rod it is light. I've thrown everything on it from Citizen 7", a magdraft, a pb-rat (my biggest bait at 5oz), and it did amazing. I'll update this as I catch more fish on it but super happy with the purchase and the quality so far.

Comments: This has been an amazing swimbait rod so far. I have had this rod for about a week now and have put close to 20 hours of putting it through the ringer. I have thrown all sorts of different baits from the arashi storm glide, an 8" magdraft, a citizen 7", and my biggest bait the PB-rat (5oz), and this rod handled them all phenomenally. Currently I have only caught one fish on it, however the rod buried the treble hook so well that I don't think that fish would have ever come off without pliers. Has been a great rod so far, super light and sensitive.
