Comments: Updated 10/23/20: I take back the comment I wrote 2 years ago. It's difficult to get good jerk actions with a lighter rod. I've been throwing this beast on a Swimbait rod (Guide Select MH 1-6oz) and it performs amazing. It can be ripped as hard as you want, fished like a original floating rapala, straight cranked, or like a traditional jerkbait. For colder temps, I like to add 6 suspend strips as the bait is super buoyant. I absolutely hammered big pikes and bass. It's still a bit smaller than I would like for Musky fishing but there isn't a more durable Jerkbait than this one for targeting big game species.
Reviewed 5/7/18: FYI - before you buy just know that the lure sits on the water with the tail side down - when you jerk and pause the lure will do an unnatural seesaw motion when in the water column. Wish i knew that before i bought it
