Overview
The world’s first situational braid, the FINS Windtamer Braid is a premium 100% spectra braid that performs incredibly well in whipping winds. Engineered with a proprietary treatment process, the FINS Windtamer Braid produces a round, smooth structure that compacts very well on reels without digging into itself. This condensed form helps reduce backlashes, wind knots, and rod tip wrapping, especially in gusty conditions.
Perfect for freshwater and saltwater applications, the FINS Windtamer Braid delivers outstanding knot strength and increased fray resistance that stands-up to big bass and inshore species alike. Performing all of the tasks of traditional braid, and then some, the FINS Windtamer Braid delivers a specialized construction that goes above-and-beyond when the wind kicks-up.

Comments: This is great line. I have it 10lb in the bright yellow. There is no color bleeding. This line works excellent on spinning tackle. Fins recommended this line. It's good stuff. You won't be disappointed.

Comments: I bought the Windtamer braid at a local hardware store because it was on a clearance sale. It has held very well and I am impressed with the performance. I have the 30# spooled up on a couple of baitcasters with fluoro or mono leaders. Of course, when I went back to purchase more, it was sold out. Now that I see TW has it in stock, I will order from them.

Comments: I was recommended this line by Fins for spinning applications. It is a bit stiffer and does not get wind knots. Feels good, have not had any issues. would buy again.

Comments: I've been really pleased with this line on my Diawa and Lews casting reels. like how soft it is in compared to a powerpro or something, which was one i used to use. i am switching over to this line for awhile. yes the line did fade, but i don't think it matters much.

Comments: Great braid for both freshwater and saltwater. I've used Windtamer fishing for reds, specks and largemouth without any issues. This braid definitely cuts through the wind much better than most. The pitch black version is my favorite for bass fishing.

Comments: This line worked ok. The dye on this braid is horrible. Buy this line if you want your grips, rod, reel and fingers green. This stuff bleeds green like crazy! Won't buy again.

Comments: This is the best braid for spinning rods I have ever used. Noticeably fewer wind knots, very strong line and the few wind knots you do get tend to be very easy to get out. I have caught everything from largemouth to Amberjack on this line and it has yet to disappoint me once.

Comments: FINS is the best braid ever manufactured. I love the Windtamer for fishing the windy famed CA Delta! This is my go to line for all reaction baits. For flipping techniques, I prefer the Fins 40G for it's small diameter.

Comments: This is the best braid I've ever used , I like power pro but it was not as smooth and was terrible in the wind . I swear this braid acts the same whether there's no wind or not and doesn't matter what lure you use. Thanks FInns
