Comments: This is the best spinning reel I've personally ever owned. It gets my line out there far, accurate and smooth. I run 100 yards cheap mono backing 150 yards braid and a fluorocarbon leader and I haven't had anything but positive experiences with this reel. I've owned it for about a month and caught some large mouth, shad and a decent size northern pike with no issues out of my 9 rods this is unironically my favorite.

Comments: Whenever I purchase a new reel or rod I immediately put it to use in my deck for tournaments and long days on the water and let me just say this reel cannot stand up to this use. The aluminum frame feels cheap and doesn't feel stable like it should if you are going to pay $150 for this reel. If you want a reliable reel for this price point I would highly recommend the Shimano Ultegra that has the hagane frame that can stand up to heavy use and is a lot better quality.

Comments: I received this reel a year ago for Christmas in a 2500, I have it matched up to a Rush rod and use it for mostly creek and river fishing for Smallies. I have taken it up to the Great Lakes many many times and have put it through the ringer for sure. I tend to usually have 20# braid on it and fished it at a minimal 150+ days for 2-10 hours a day slamming down monster hook sets on everything from tree-pounders and rocks to some of my PB largies, smallies, and some sheephead. The drag still feels great, it all feels super smooth  nothing feels loose, and the bail spring still feels great. It really reminds me of the feel of a good Daiwa. Love the reel and I am looking forward to many more fishing trips with it.
