Comments: I've got the 7'6" MH and 7' M rods and absolutely love them. A very versatile pair, allowing me to throw just about anything I'm interested in throwing for smallmouth and pike, outside of the most extreme ends of the spectrum (massive swimbaits or the tiniest finesse baits). Lightweight, sensitive, feel great in the hand, can be comfortably fished all day with very little fatigue, balance well with the Curado reels I've paired them with. I'd replace either of these rods immediately if I lost it.

Comments: If you like to throw 5/16oz spinnerbaits, 1/4oz Mini Max Chatterbait, square bills, shaky heads, and jerk baits the MBR 842 can not be beaten. For jigs, swim jigs, bigger spinner baits, chatter baits, whopper plopper, swimbaits, or pretty much anything else get the 843 or 844 depending on the weight of the baits you want to throw. You will be able to do all of these presentations really well. It's good to have multiples of each in my opinion. Best taper in the business.

Comments: 843C is probably one of the best casting MH rods ever made. I have four of them. Anyone that has anything negative to say about this rod would surprise me. It's just got a perfect bend and action.

Comments: I have multiples of both the 843c and 844c. With these two rods you can do the most common bass fishing techniques. Most excellent jig, t rig, spinnerbait, swimbait, chatterbait, top water rods. The 844 can even do some frogging, except for the heaviest situations. These rods have incredible feel for bottom contact baits. The magical MBR taper has the feel I love the most in my casting rods.

Comments: Picked up the 904 MBR rod. The several Loomis MBR rods I've fished over the last 20 years have been excellent and this one is no different! The fast actions of these sticks are just so nicely tuned and great for a variety of different baits. With my Curado DC aboard, this rod balances at the hook keeper. It handles baits up to its rated 1-ounce with no problem and has enough tip to easily walk big topwaters like the Gancraft S-Caper. Excellent rod!
