Comments: I have the 842 and 843 and when I first received them my first thoughts after holding them was how light they are. These rods are ultra sensitive in the water. You can easily be fooled a light tic with simple structure on the bottom. I use both for bottom contact, mainly jigs and Texas rigs. I have both paired with Shimano reels weighing roughly around 6oz (in my opinion that's the sweet spot). My wrist and arm don't feel fatigued cast after cast because how light they are. They feel really comfortable in hands too and they are extremely tough. Caught a 4lber on 12lb floro and thought it wouldn't stand to the task because the tip is so soft. I mean really soft. They handle very well. Overall I like them and they've become my go to rods and never leave the house without one of them.
