Comments: I seem to have gotten a good one. This rod fits my hands so well. It's like it was made for me. Great action, the go-to I can throw heavy 1.5 oz jigs, all the way down to 1/4 oz jigs. So versatile. Great vibration and sensitivity on chatter baits, lipless cranks, and the tight wobble of spinnerbaits. I feel everything with this rod. It's so light I can throw lures all day. I don't like the hook keeper, the line keeps getting stuck there. other than that, everything is great. The guides are holding up fine, and so is the locking reel seat. Cork is starting to degrade but other than that it's been a great 2 years with this rod.

Comments: Against my better judgment I tried the 7'2" moderate rod, what a mistake. Like the other reviewers below my reel seat cracked while fishing, not even on a hookset. While fishing my reel seat got a little loose, I tightened it a touch, next cast it cracked and my reel almost fell off the rod. Ugh.....If I was you I'd get something else, there seems to be a serious issue with these rods. They look pretty good though, but that doesn't matter if they break so frequently.

Comments: Bought the 6'9 and it is amazing ;)!! Not sure what the deal is with the reel seats breaking, but from my experience it is a great jerkbait and top water rod. Looking forward to buying more of these. Definitely recommend and the price is unbeatable.

Comments: Same as the reviewer below, the reel seat broke on my rod. The seat cracked on a hook set after about a month of use. First and last time I try one of these rods. Fit and finish is medium quality, for the price range buy a Daiwa Tatula, or even a Dobyns Fury.

Comments: The reel seat broke on a hookset about three months of use. Then on a another hookset it snapped in half on a two pounder I do not recommend this rod; it's poorly made and apparently has weak spots. Never, and I mean never, buy this rod; it's not worth the money. You will be better off buying a cheaper rod from a better company. Obliviously I am disappointed

Comments: DO NOT BUY THIS ROD I ordered the 7 2 med/hvy and I was sad because the first time I took it out I set the hook on a 10 inch bass and the rod snapped in the middle of the blank so I thought I got a bad rod and contacted googan and they sent me out a new rod and then the grips started to slide off after a weeks use just save your money and go buy a dobyns

Comments: Love or hate the Googan brand it's impossible to not like this rod. This thing is sweet. The 7'5 heavy is an amazing rod. Super durable/comfortable and very light weight. You can flip all day with this rod and not get worn out. The fact that it's well under $200 is just a big bonus! Everyone is sleeping on these rods!
