Comments: Very disappointed. So much hype for this bait and yet the hook completely bends out straight on a 4lb smallmouth. Drag was set light and I was using a medium action spinning rod. Not cool. Unless youre casting an absolute fairy wand I would not trust this hook.

Comments: I have used a lot of underspins and this one here is hands down the best one - it just catches big fish. Comments: By far the best small Underspin on the market! the hook on this guy is perfect for any 2.5-3.5 inch plastic you prefer on an Underspin. I really like pairing this up with their drop minnow, or a 2.8 Swimbait. This bait is great for big smallmouth, but it is deadly in the winter and late fall for largemouth!

Comments: These are lights out! I started using these for smallmouth and the walleye eat them just as well. Up north on Lake Ontario this spring I had a 100+ smallmouth day with my biggest going 6.45lbs. I just cast and straight retrieve. These held up perfectly. I did find I needed to use my light rod and reel setup that I use for hair jigs. The Owner hook is a finer wire hook, so no need for a huge hook set. These are certainly not designed for heavy equipment. The hook basically sets itself when they bite so a gentle sweep when you set the hook is all you need. A quality reel with a good drag helps a lot with using these with a light line and a longer rod.
