Comments: Yes these rods are less expensive than other rods but compared to quality and performance and durability you can't go wrong with these. Buy them and use them you will not be sorry.

Comments: Wouldn't recommend it, the broke off in first few months of use. I know it is a cheaper rod, but expected it to last a full season.

Comments: Ordered one of these from the Lamiglass website but it has no way to review purchases so I'm putting it here on the site I buy most my tackle from. I ordered this rod cause I was amazed that a USA made rod could be this affordable. Yeah, it's made in China. Which is not a bad thing necessarily... But it's deceptive.

Comments: I've got 3 of the XP704C each paired with Quantum smoke reels spooled with 50lb braid with a 5ft 20lb Sunline monofilament leader. You get better casting distance and sensitivity with the braid and with the stretch in the mono you don't miss many fish. This 704C + braid setup works great for reaction baits such as spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, swim jigs and even square bills.

Comments: Paired the 7'10" with a Revo Beast X and 15 lb mono. It's a little tip heavy due to the short butt end, but very comfortable for throwing 1-2 oz glidebaits. Rod is sensitive enough to feel the baits working side to side. I can even feel whiff bites. The parabolic blank is great for hard baits with treble hooks. I wouldnât use it for soft baits. Great rod for the price point.

Comments: Everything on the rod feels nice but the reel seat is deff cheapy and scratches easily came with scratches already on it ..for 100 can't really complain but deff had a lot better quality and design in other 100$ rods .

Comments: I was looking to get a new Casting rod and tried the St Croix Bass X. Wasn't very impressed with the Bass X, it felt tip heavy, less guides. The St Croix was returned to Tackle Warehouse which was a pleasant/easy way to return it. I then bought Lamiglas XP Bass XP704C, this rod is way better than the St Croix Bass X. I would recommend this rod for anyone looking for a rod at a lower price point. It is not quite as light as my Dobyns Sierra but most people will be impressed at the price point of the Lamiglas. I threw a new Fuego CT on this rod and it is a nice setup, not to mention that the colors of the rod and reel go together perfectly.

Comments: Ordered the 7 fort medium and I am impressed. Says extra fast tip but feels more like a moderate.
