Comments: The rod was great the first cast on it I hooked 2 3 lb bas at the same time on top water. So it handled 6lbs of fish just fine. In less than a month I have been putting fish on it with no issues just spotted bass. Well, this morning I went out hooked up with a 1lb bass and the first 4 inches of the rod snapped and broke. Not what I was expecting from a 110+ dollar rod. If tackle warehouse carried ugly stick elites I would have gone with that instead. First and last time I deviate away from ugly stick

Comments: Excellent rod. I have the 6'9" M. First fish I caught on mine was over 3lbs. Action, sensitivity, and components are top notch for the price point. However, the location of the hook holder is the absolute dumbest spot I have ever seen on a rod. IF YOU USE it, and you use it with a treble hook bait, all I can say is good luck. Hope you don't pick up your rod and get a treble impaled in your hand. It is on the bottom side of the handle, just behind the reel seat, right where you normally grab a rod off your deck. It's stupid!! I don't use it. I use the big line guide up the rod.
