Overview
The Megabass Baby Pop X BFS Popper is a snack-sized popper distilled from the legendary POPX. Introduced in 1996, the original POP-X changedthe face of top-water gaming with its unique water-channeling cup design and patented balancer system. Harnessing the ability to function as both a traditional popper and pop-walker, the POPX is beloved to this day by fish and anglers alike.
Drawing from this rich D.N.A., the Megabass Baby Pop X BFS Popper was downsized for Yuki Ito's personal arsenal to preserve his cherished popper bite during tough bite windows. Featuring a sculpted cup design and more central line tie, the Megabass Baby Pop X BFS Popper spits and splashes with a bubble trail that beckons predators from the depths. With the right BFS setup, twitches will make the Megabass Baby Pop X BFS Popper pop-walk with minimal forward travel, perfect for milking bites from pinpoint areas. A perfect balance of hydrodynamic and aerodynamic form, the tail-weighted design casts farther than its size might otherwise suggest, enabling stealth approaches in crystal clear shallows where targets are quick to spook.

Comments: Megabass poppers get bit...a lot! I bought a couple of these and caught a couple of nice bass. After a few more casts I looked at the popper and noticed one of the back hooks was gone. So the treble only had 2 arms. It was there when I caught the fish as I remember unhooking it. I fished it on an Alderbaren BFS with 6lb mono on a Dobyns UL 691...this has happened on the PopX too. The hooks are very sharp but seem fragile. Not sure. May start changing the hooks out on these when I buy them...these are really good poppers just disappointed by the hooks.
