Overview
The Megabass Diving Flap Slap is a flat-sided shad plug with a lip and Megabass' innovative Shaft Balancer from their Q-GO (X-95). As a result the Diving Flap Slap casts like a rock with a medium-heavy rod against strong winds. On a steady retrieve the Flap Slap will roll causing an on and off flashing. When jerked, it will, well, flap and slap. When you pause the bait, the built-in Shaft Balancer will cause a shimmy action, which will often trigger fish to strike.

Important lureWorks as a crankbait, but also as a jerk. Does a unique side bodyroll thing as a jerkbait, and with the wider body, imitates forage on the smaller lakes better than a 110. It's a slow-float, which is nice to get up & over shallow cover. Wish it came in a bigger size and more colors. Also needs stronger hook, but whatever. Megabass being megabass....

Comments: Wow, what a great lure. I caught an 8.2 Largemouth and a 10.10 catfish on back to back casts. What a blast on 8 lb fluorocarbon. When you fish it like a jerk bait it darts, stops and then wiggles in place. Very deadly.

Comments: This bait is insane. I caught 75% of my fish this spring fishing this as a jerkbait even though its technically a ''crankbait". When you twitch it, there is a shimmy that straight up catches fish and lots of them. Ended up catching my first muskie on this bait as well. Just buy it and a spare pack of trebles and you will not be disappointed.

Comments: Another fish catching bait from Megabass. I've had great success using these as a jerkbait. I wasn't overly impressed with the quality of the split rings and hooks on these for a $20 bait. I'd suggest changing them out if you buy this lure. Other than that, the action is great, and fish love them.
