Pricey but worth itI've been using these on dropshot since around 2020. The natural green pumkin is a killer dropshot bait and gets bit more often than not for whatever reason on the fall. Even compared to a 3" Easy shiner I have more confidence in this bait for dropshot. It started in clear cold winter months for me and has now been a key bait the last few years. It works all year as it should but watch out for crappie. They will tear this off the hook faster than you can put them on.

Comments: As others have mentioned, the packaging is pretty poor considering the price of these baits, but that's where the cons end! The 3" in green pumpkin shad are absolutely killer on a dropshot, easily my favorite dropshot bait. Tried these on a 1/8oz okashira screwhead and they get bit also, but you'll have much less occurrence of the bait sliding down the shank of the okashira head if you use loctite gel superglue.I'd rather use the 3" Zman slim swimz for that technique personally. Have had multiple 50+ fish days dropshotting this bait alone though! Durability is decent when nose hooked on an owner mosquito hook. In Minnesota they look almost IDENTICLE like baby sunfish and the smaller shiners we have in the lakes and rivers here. Haven't tried the larger size so I can't speak on the performance of them, but the 3" is amazing for smallies and largemouth, even schools or crappie with choke them. If you do get a package where the tails are bent, and you're go ing to dropshot them, just use a scissors and snip the edge of the boot tail so it's basically a straight tail bait. Yeah, I know, shouldn't happen, but they WILL catch fish regardless. Buy 2 or 3 packs at a time because they are the truth! Can't recommend them enough!

Comments: Amazing bait! HOWEVER packaging is terrible for price, each bait needs clamshell packaging pretty disappointing!

Comments: Great bait, terrible packaging! Seriously if I'm going to spend the money for these things they better have molded packaging for the bait. They get so deformed in the packing sitting in a boat it's pathetic

Comments: Great finesse swimbait especially paired with the Megabass okashira screw head, the 1/16 w/ the 3 inch Hazedong Shad, or the 4 inch w/ the 1/8 head, great bait will get more!

Comments: These swimbaits are absolutely AMAZING, they are extremely realistic and look perfect in the water. The tail kicks even when you BARELY move the lure. I personally love to use the smaller size in creeks and in other bodies of water such as lakes, ponds, rivers, really anything. Where these lures really shine in my opinion is a a ned head hopping, dragging, or swimming on/close to the bottom. A little pricey but they are definitely worth it. The colors match little minnows and other baitfish perfectly. I love em, I was introduced to them by a fellow kayak angler and he was killin the smallies, spots, and largies at Jenkinson Lake. Seeing how well he was doing I had to pick up some of them and it was worth it. I destroy any species of bass even when they are extremely finicky.

Comments: Very disappointed in the packaging, absolute turn off. If you like tails that look like hockey sticks when they come out of the package then this is the bait for you... Save your money

Comments: I have thrown the Hazedong exclusively for drop shot. I throw with spinning gear, 8 lb test, and I close the bail right after the cast so the bait pendulums down and gets that paddle tail moving. Also, more durable than most other minnow drop shot baits. Who doesn't love Megabass!

Comments: I bought some of these on a whim as I usually make my own swimbaits, but I love Megabass and decided to try them. Really impressed. They crushed the fish and held up extremely well. I caught a 4.25 and 3 pound bass along with at least a dozen smaller fish, all out of heavy cover, before the bait began to tear. Even so, a bit of Mend It will have it back in action. That was the 4" fished on a weighted Gamakatsu hook, next week I'll be trying the 3" on a jig head for smallmouth.

Comments: These are awesome swimbaits. They have a great action, even when slowly retrieved, and are definitely durable. Have caught a handful of decent bass so far, a slab crappie, and a few pickerel. Worth every cent recommend for people who want to start using swimbaits but don't have the gear to throw heavy baits.

Comments: Man these suckers are small, make no mistake about it! I ordered the green pumpkin shad and the colors are correct to what is pictured. Has a small slot in the belly for a hook. The plastic is high quality and durable, also the Megabass logo is embossed in the plastic towards the back. Really diggin these so far
