what a wonderful rod this is.First off there's only 3 cons with this rod. 1. It's so good that I can't put it down. So it's not been serving strictly as it's intention as a pack rod. 2 it doesn't have a bait keeper. No big deal. Eventually I'll get one of the removable keepers. 3. The rod bag that these come with is somewhat useless as all MB rods because you can't effectively store a reel in any part of. Not a deal breaker. If you have the 5 minutes to set it up and have a separate case to keep your rod and reel it's not a big deal. Just something to note since this is a pack rod. Now that I got that out of the way. All I can say is wow. This rod has absolutely exceeded every expectation I had for it and just flat out been a pleasure to use. I think the power and action on it are misleading. This thing is versatile. I've had NO issues throwing 3.8 swing impact fats on 3/16 oz weighted screwlock ewgs. It's also been great for mini football jigs. I'm sure it would be a great senko rod as well and eventually I wanna try the g-crazy on it. The thing just handles them. Nice and lightweight and comfortable in hand and a PERFECT blank that loads up where you need it to for great accurate casts, but still has the butt end for powerful hooksets. Despite being a 4 piece rod this thing is SENSITIVE. no problem feeling all those bites even on days when the fish are being picky. And for you yak guys. This is an AWESOME kayak spinning rod. Particularly on creek missions for smallmouth. Truly impressed with this rod. This is my second Levante spinning outfit and both have been great but this one has truly been exceptional. Will definitely be looking in the future to get a one piece to use as an everyday rod and keeping this guy at the ready for when duty calls. The Levante is strongly in my opinion quite simply the best rod on earth that you can get for this price point. I have many of them for good reason and this rod is no exception. If you're looking for a pack rod to catch you lots of fish and to enjoy for a long time, look no more! This is the one for you!
