Crafted using the finest components and materials imaginable, the Megabass Uoze Swim Jig delivers unrivaled performance by blurring the line between swim jig and underpsin. Sculpted with a tapered head and flared gill plates, the Megabss Uoze Swimmer Swim Jig cuts through vegetation and water, while providing a subtle resistance that allows anglers to feel the bait.
Along the underside, the Megabass Uoze Swimmer Swim Jig features a bright #3 willow blade anchored in place by a shape-memory wire, creating a brilliant dose of flash and vibration. This titanium wiring, along with the tension-tuned weedguard compresses out of the way when big fish strike to help facilitate the penetration of the beefy wide-gap hook with fluorine coating. Complete with hand-tied, premium skirting, the Megabass Uoze Swimmer Swim Jig taps into a highly effective gray area between a swim jig and an underspin.
Only complaint is…The blade falls off easily. No durability. If megabass fixes this it’ll be a 10/10 bait

SizesThe middle sizes (1/4, 3/8, 1/2 oz) have a 4/0 hook - they're all about the same size/profile. However, the 3/16 is my favorite (3/0 hook) - a genuine finesse-size jig, perfect for tough bites and for smallies. The 3/4 oz is huge by comparison - would need a 5" or so swimbait to fill out profile.
Still messing with swimbaits, trying to find one that gives good head wobble or body roll. Anybody finds a good one - please post it!

WRECKS THEMI've done very well with the smallest one I've had great success with it in the chartuse and bluegill color caught a 7lber and a 5lber a few 3+ and 10-20 smaller ones had a 5lb bowfin break the wire on one and a small bass break another BUT it doesn't hurt the fish catch ability just males a perfect mini swimjig

Good Swimjig! This is an awesome jig that gets smoked! I throw the 1/4 oz size in smoke shad with a 3 inch spark shad trailer in 8-12 ft coves on Lake Loudon and Melton out here in east Tn and I’ve caught some nice bass. Always get a sick feeling in my stomach when I lose one because of the price but, never had any blade issues and I’ve caught 40-50 fish on just one of these before

It gets bit!!Unlike some of the other reviews I haven't lost the blade on any of mine, yet. I have hooked many fish with it. The reason I only gave 4 stars is because the landing to hook up ratio is kinda low. Probably 30 - 40% throw the 1/2oz size. I have tried a few different rod actions and still have about the same ratio. Hopefully the 3/8oz size will be better.

Blade wire still falls off.Tied on a brand new one this morning to throw around submerged weeds. It worked well but after 2 fish the blade wire was gone, unfortunate it's just an expensive normal swim jig now. Everything about the jig is great but the blade arm falling off so easily is insane, I don't see how they justify selling these without an improvement to how the wire is attached.

It’ll absolutely starch emIdk about hardware issues with it.. I bought two, and the second one is still in the package, while the first has been dug out of the back of dozens of green and brown mouths. This thing casts a mile and has held up great after many days and a LOT of catches. Ticking this thing through the reeds, over the top of submerged vegetation, or around the edge of emergent vegetation is a great way to get your wrist bent up. I fish Lake Champlain, and this thing starches em. A+++

Avoid, has major flawAs much as I want to love these because they work…they possess a major quality flaw. The underside willow blade has disappeared on two of the 3/16 models I recently purchased. Two different colors, on both, the blade disappeared after the first and second day of use. All you get is 30-40 casts and the blade is gone. I thought the first was a fluke, but no. Looking at the underside, you can see where wire just pulled out of the head. At $12 each, this is not acceptable.

Comments: So far I have zero complaints. The bait is high edn megabass products. The hook to the wire keeper and pain job are 5star. Everything about the wire falling off was true just a few years ago but Megabass quickly resigned their pouring stage and fixed that problem. I have throw it 3 days consistently with no breaks or anything Hitting bottom, crawling over mud and rock to pitching in timber which I Don't recommend. The bait rolls on its side coming over cover and the hook is so sharp it catches wood easily. It's more a open water or grass and weed bait. Hope that helps.
From: Jed: 3/4/23
Comments: I'm back to buy more .. only because my hooks become dull after many, many fish caught .. it's an outstanding bait .. I'VE NEVER had any of the hardware break off on me - never .. so it floors me so many others have .. I can't help but wonder if their smacking them against rocks on their initial toss .. cuz yeah that'll do it .. phenomenal bait in cold water just slow rolling it just off bottom .. does not take much to turn that blade .. slow roll it fellas

Comments: Great jig, until the blade broke off only halfway through the day just rolling over wood. The swimjig without the blade was still great however.

Comments: I recently used Uoze Swimmer swim jig this past week and it has caught a lot of fish for me. The action is very good on bait with a normal retrieve. The blade on the lure adds I think adds a lot to getting the fish to react and bite. I can see the Uoze swimmer working from spring to fall no problem here up north. I do have the confidence with any Megabass lure/bait that it will get bit even when your fishing very pressured waters in unideal conditions. I do have to the swim has almost perfect hardware on it with one fatal flaw. The hook is very sharp and is rust resistant for what I understand. The worm keeper is nothing like any other lure on the market beside other Megabass products, and I don't think any soft plastic will slip off the bait once its on there. The weed guard of the bait is above average nothing too crazy. The biggest problem with the bait is the wire to the blade. I get that its titanium and there is a bit of reason for it, but dang the wire will only last me a day of fishing before it breaks off. Annoying... considering its a $12 dollar and it nots that durable and yes a fish can break it even though you did everything right.
From: Connor: Michigan 8/1/21
Comments: The good...Incredible look, finish, action and color selection...The bad...like others the blade wire has broken off on both of the jigs...If you fish it around anything hard, wood, rocks or docks it will break on you...the jig is still really good without the wire and blade but Megabass should offer it without the blade (reduce the price} because it will break....I will only use the one I have left on grass
From: Tim: Texas 5/9/21
Comments: I'm such a huge fan of these.. fishing them past two months in colder water just slow dragging then on bottom 1/2 oz.. they flat out work.. gotten to the point the only underspin I throw now.
From: Ross: Lake Mead 12/27/20
Comments: Really great swim jig! Nobody pays attention to detail like Megabass. The hook is a beast, the keeper holds plastics better than a screw lock, wire tied skirt, weed guard is perfect (no need for trimming), and of course the Megabass finish. On the darker colors I just remove the blade and fish it like any other swim jig. Comes through grass great and so far has been pretty durable. Would recommend.

Comments: This underspin jig is made exactly as it should be. Other underspins that have that heavier gauge wire make it to where the bass basically need to eat the bait from behind only. When they come up underneath a heavy gauge wire underspin it often kicks the hook up out of their way. This design allows the underspin to give some so the bass can inhale from underneath the bait or from the side, NOT just directly from behind. Long story short this bait is made correctly, will it last 10-20-30 fish? no it won't, nor was it designed to. It's only $12. that's easily worth 5-10 good bass. It's megabass, nothing in their realm is cheap nor made cheap. But this bait was made correctly and in order for it to be eaten from any angle.
From: Dean: Las Vegas, NV 9/3/20
Comments: The jig has the same action as a 6th Sense swim jig. The spinner on the megabass jig broke off after pitching it under two docks.... Not worth the price point for the craftsmanship of the jig. No more uoze swimmer for me. I'll stick to 6th Sense.
From: Zach - 8/30/20
Comments: Lot of negative reviews on this bait and I can see why, it is not perfect but it isn't bad either. I just used Hasu color to win a small Kayak Bass Tournament in Wisconsin. I fished it slow, dragging it on a shell bed and around offshore cover. My blade didn't fall off but I only used it that day for a couple hundred casts, so hardly a true testing. I did catch over 10 Largemouth Bass on it. So here are my pros and cons: Pros: Bait Keeper is excellent, Colors are really good, Paint also held up to being dragged on bottom Hook up ratio was perfect. Cons: The weed guard is weak it bent easily and regularly got tangled with the skirt I can see the blade as a possible weak point. Overall it simply caught fish for me, it was responsible for my biggest fish and 3 of the 5 I used to win. I'd currently buy them again.

Comments:I didn't really want the blade but I wanted the blade but because I have never seen a bluegill color like that but they didn't have just a regular swim jig, so when I got it, I cut it off with wire cutters when I got it and it actually swam perfectly without the blade, and I destroyed the bass, caught both quality and quantity.

Comments: Great bait, I just wish the weedguard was stiffer and the anchoring point for the underspin blade was stronger. Had 4 baits get their blades ripped out by ferocious pike attacks, but we're talking about 36+ inch pike here... Hope to see the Uoze swimmer made without a blade also because the head design is very stable when you need to burn the jig through cover. Unless you need some flash on your swimjig, buy the 6th Sense Divine swimjigs, half the price and the colors are arguably better overall, I still love the Uoze jig though, but yeah $11 for one jig, ouch

Comments: I'm pretty disappointed with these. The split ring that holds the willow blade is horrible. Today I opened up a new one from the package. On the FIRST CAST the blade came off. The spit ring had come separated. I have lost another blade but that was after about 15 casts. If you buy these make sure you replace the split rings.

Comments: This bait catches fish for sure. The hook is decent and will withstand many fish. The skirt is wire tied, which I actually dislike due to the fact that you can't switch it easily. The keeper for the trailer is excellent. The blade spins on the fall and on the retrieve, no issues with the skirt fouling it. On the two of them I have the weed guard is pretty worthless. One of the weedguards completely fell out while I was spreading it out, and the other feels like its going to fall out on the first hookset. If I have time I might pull the stock weed guard out, drill the hole out a bit, and put in a thicker weed guard into it. I also want to experiment with colorado blades on it. The larger uoze swimmers pair well with the fat keitech, while the smaller ones pair well with curly tail grubs and the small keitech. In conclusion, it is pricey but if you are confident in swim jigs or underspins, you will probably find applications for this lure.
