Overview
The Owner J Hooks are perfect for rigging larger soft plastic baits, especially when Carolina- and Texas-rigging lizards. The extra wide bend accommodates the bigger baits and the Z-Lock shoulder bend also helps keep your baits in place. The point is positioned and engineered to surface quicker on the hook sets and the hook’s wide bend reduces the chance of fish throwing the hook. Available in multiple sizes, the Owner J Hooks also come equipped with super sharp Cutting Point technology and a black chrome finish.

Comments: I've used these flipping both submerged grass and lily pads for over a year now and don't have any complaints. I like that they are a thicker wire than the standard Gamakatsu EWGs but thinner than the superline and flipping hooks so they are perfect for flipping the grass and lily pads around here in Pennsylvania. Would definitely recommend and I plan on purchasing more.

Comments: I use the 1/0 for dropshotting Roboworms / Mag Hitworms in and around grass and i don't think I've lost a single fish on one in about 2 years. This will be the only hook I'll use for this application.

Comments: If you are looking for a hook that isnt quite as heavy/thick as the superline gamakatsu's and not quite as thin/bendable as the normal EWG's that gamakatsu makes then this is your ticket.. love these hooks for lighter flippin. I would highly recommend these to anyone who prefers flippin with an EWG opposed to a regular straight shank.
