Overview
Designed to produce the same erratic action as the original KVD jerkbait, the Strike King KVD Elite 300 Jerkbait delivers the perfect combination of roll, wiggle, and flash to entice bites from fish during all months of the year. Providing an incredibly wide side-to-side lunging movement when twitched on a slack line, the 300 Elite Jerkbait features an advanced internal weight transfer system that defines its lethal action and ensures long-distance casting.
Finished with 3D eyes and incredible detailing to fool the most discerning predators in clear water, the suspending action of this jerkbait allows it to be paused and hover longer in the strike zone. Available in a wide range of new KVD-approved colors, the Strike King KVD Elite 300 Jerkbait are tournament ready straight out of the package with three razor-sharp size #4 Mustad KVD triple grip treble hooks.

Comments: I picked up one of these from a friend in a phantom bluegill as an afterthought and hit one of my local lakes that has both largemouth and smallmouth that gets a ton of fishing pressure. Typically this time of year we are finessing it pretty hard to get bites, and for some reason I tied on this jerkbait on my second cast caught a 3lb LM, and two casts later a 4 lb LM, and stuck to throwing this the rest of the day with great success. I went back three days later and had the same success. I primarily chase smallies and typically throw LC Pointers, MB Visions, Jackall Reranges and Berkley Stunnas, but I will definitely be adding this jerkbait to my aresenal. Can't wait to throw it this fall.

Comments: This is more like f a review on the color , not the bait. When it comes to jerk baits - 99 % of the time I'm throwing Megabass .. HOWEVER - I'm a huge huge huge fan of anything strike king "pro oyster" this color just seems to slay year round .. no matter the bait be it a crank - jerk - swim "pro oyster" is just a killer color .. bass & striper just always seem to hit it .

Comments: Fished this today in Pro Blue Flash. I was at a pond in Texas in December for water temp calibration. I got it to dive down to the called out 4-7 ft and it suspended perfectly. The action isn't super erratic but it dances around. Slow day but caught a 2 lber. Hooks were good, rings kinda suck. Paint near the rear hook has started chipping already. Overall decent to good would be my review.
