Comments: This is a great bait for the price. I mainly use it for fishing stripers in the CA Delta and I don't feel like I need to change the hooks or rings on this bait which saves a lot of money. Ready to fish out of the package, good suspending bait and flat gets bit. I've only used the pearl shad color so far but I am sure other colors are good as well. The biggest fish I've caught on this bait was a 24" striper and hooks were fine. I think this stacks up well against a Lucky Craft for a few bucks less.

Comments: I've been using the 3DB series for a few years now and I like them quite a bit. I have a lot of fun with them just after ice out when walleye, bass and pike are starting their spring feed and they work well in the fall when fish are fattening up for winter. I haven't had too many fish throw the bait with the stock hooks but upgrading your trebles is still a good idea to increase your landing percentage. Solid bait at a good price and it doesn't hit you right in the wallet when a pike decides to liberate the bait from your line.

Comments: Excellent bait all around. Suspends excellent, no need to tune it. Hooks are decent out of package. I wish there were more color options. For me this bait really shines in colder months fished on bright days. Jerk it and you MUST pause. Every bite I have ever gotten is on the pause. It's almost like bait fishing. Tight lines!

Comments: I love the swaying action of this jerkbait. It's walking the dog, but underwater. And it suspends when you pause it, which is when I've had about 30% of my strikes. I received it 2 months ago and have already caught the 6 biggest walleyes of my life (2 biggest were 18-1/2 and 19-1/4 inches). I've also caught three, 3+ lbs. stripers, 4-1/2 lbs. largemouth plus several smaller smallmouth and largemouth bass. And it's supposed to be an excellent lure for wintertime, specially on the pause. For me, Gizzard Shad color is my favorite.

Comments: 3 days, 16 Stripers (5 shakers) and 5 bass in less than 6 hours from the bank total time and that's  counting the time to walk 125 yrds or so to the bank from where I can park or my Chocolate Chip cookie and coffee 5 min break.Recommend removing the middle hook and add a bb split shot to make it faster to unhook the Stripers. I don't do any rip jerking, just 3 lite medium twitches and rest for 5-6 seconds and reel in 3 cranks (7.2:1 reel) and repeat. Water vis: 4-6ft.

Comments: At under $10, these baits are worth every penny.  I love jerkbait fishing simply because they are an amazing year round bait that can be fished a million different ways.  The colors and finish is fantastic and they dart erratically like a good jerkbait should.  In 60-65 degree water the will suspend forever.  The come with good quality, razor sharp hooks that don't need to be upgraded as well.  The weight transfer system lets you cast these suckers like a bullet.  I've always been a huge fan of Yo-Zuri jerkbaits ever since I picked up a sashimi shad 10 years ago and I will continue to purchase more of the 3DB series baits.

Comments: I would give this a C+, the bait has phenomenal action and casting distance. Whoever designed and tested this bait really put the time in........until it came time to paint them. The paint jobs are a joke and look cheap. I suggest buying a bunch and sending to a custom painter; but by the time you go to that much trouble and money, you might as well just buy the Megabass 110.
