Overview
Designed to excel when the fishing pressure is heaviest and fish shy away from traditional offerings, the Yo-Zuri 3DS Series Minnow 2.75” is part of Yo-Zuri’s new 3DS finesse series of lures. Similar in quality to the 3DB family of lures, the 3DS Series Minnow is noticeably smaller with unique features all its own.
A tournament-level rip bait, the Yo-Zuri 3DS Series Minnow 2.72” has a tight wobbling action when fished with a straight retrieve, and when fished in a twitch-pause-retrieve style, its flat sides help produce an erratic action that bass find irresistible. Internally embossed details on gills, fins and scales, create a strikingly realistic baitfish imitation, and Yo-Zuri’s 3D Internal Prism finish creates a flash second-to-none in the industry.
Two super sharp round bend black nickel hooks and super-strong black nickel split rings seal the deal and provide quality hook sets, and its tough durable proprietary Polycarbonate body can withstand the abuse that tournament fishing puts on lures. Available in a range of colors, the Yo-Zuri 3DS Series Minnow 2.75” has been tested and proven around the globe.

Comments: By far my favorite bait for saltwater spotted seatrout. I've tried most of the common trout baits and a YoZuri 3DS will out fish them consistently. They also work on flounder and redfish.

Comments: This review is a long time coming. This lure has resulted in several of my very best trout fishing days. Fishing rivers in California, I've had mornings where I've managed to land 20 + trout in only a couple of hours. If you're trying to get someone into trout fishing in rivers and you don't trust them from hanging up with drift fishing gear, just tie on a 3DS Series Minnow, tell them to cast at a slight down-stream angle, and slowly reel it in with small twitches every now and then. Also, the gold and black holographic color has enticed several of my largest rainbow trout from lakes during the winter.

Comments: Great bait, love the small size for fishing canals and small ponds. hooks are complete trash though, bent one out on a small peacock bass, first time I've ever bent a hook in my life..

Comments: Where do I even start... I've been fishing a heavily pressured creek/river system for a few years now, and I have not found a jerkbait that works better than this little guy (I have only used the small size). Something about the erratic action created by the square bill and flat sides makes it very appealing to smallmouth. All you have to do is slowly twitch it back on semi-slack line with a little pause to reel up the extra slack in between jerks, works like a charm in all seasons for me.

Comments: Hands down one of the most versatile baits on the market. I live in SoCal and i will throw this bait for calico bass, spotted bay bass, short fin corvina, and when I’m feeling fresh even large mouth bass. One of my favorite thing about these baits is that the vaunt never goes bad it’s all internally painted so no matter how scratched and beat up your bait gets it never loses its color. If you’re thinking about getting one or two do it you won’t be disappointed.

Comments: I've had some of my best days trout fishing on rivers with this lure. Cast across and slightly downstream and reel it in slowly with an occasional quick soft jerk. I've had several days with over 30 fish landed. Hands down my go-to jerk bait for small to medium size streams and rivers.

Comments: Got one of these in Purple Back Chartreuse, in 2.75", in one of my MTB boxes. It was a consistent producer of Smallies for me on The Allegheny River, till I lost it to a windblown cast that sent it into a low-hanging tree, while casting from shore. DOH! I never forgot about that bait, until I had a chance to buy one, again, here, in the 4 inch size, and the same color choice. I've only had a chance to toss it, once, due to weather changes. While I didn't lock onto any more Smallies, yet, I discovered the Walleye really seem to like it! Landed 2 in 5 minutes time, and the 3rd one came half an hour later, after several follows back to in front of me, and one instance when he got off (My fault. Didn't keep him pegged enough, while moving my rod to my other side.). Can't wait for the weather to cooperate, so that I can call up the Smallies, again, with this one. Walleyes, you're welcome to hit it, too!

Comments: This Jerk bait is absolutely Awesome! My number one go to bait when all is lost. I have it in the 2.75 inch Gill color. The bait just looks stunning in the water as it flashes back and forth! Irresistible by bass as soon as you come to a pause and the bait has its nose down and tail up. Definitely recommend!

Comments: Awesome JB...Has great action...Catches big fish...Took this up to Lake Erie and crushed Smallies all day long...Hooks are super sharp, colors are bright and have tons of flash...It's heavier than most JB's so it casts pretty far...Dives to correct depth on 12ln Flouro. Just a great overall bait. Highly recommended!!

Comments: I took this lure out to my neighborhood pond just to test the action and caught 2 nice, solid 2lbers on the first 2 casts! 2 thumbs up for me!! Used the holographic Tennessee shad color! Worth the money for sure!

Comments: Great lure. I have the holographic black silver & ever since using it, it already has plently battle scars from the teeth of pickerel. Haven't yet caught a bass on it, but have literally had them swim right up & stare at it. Basically a matter of time before I get one on it. All in all excellent jerkbait & highly recommend. Not too often I find quality lures I'm impressed with.

Comments: Excellent lure in both sizes. Cast very well with internal weight transfer system. Amazingly deflection off structure and remains balanced and does not foul run. Walleyes love chomping on both sizes. Some larger crappies bites the smaller size. Both sizes are good suspending models with the larger one staying much deeper.
