South targeted flats and drains where postspawn largemouth were staging in 6 to 12 feet of water. Alternating using an urching style bait, and a unreleased Berkley Lab Series Minnow, South fished brushpiles, stumps, grass and the occasional rockpile which all attracted bass so long as it was located outside of the spawning areas. Most of the bass South caught were hovering just above or right next to the piece of cover.

2nd Place - Chase Clarke - 73lb - 15oz - $16,437

Clarke focused on prespawn largemouth staging on river channel ledges extending from 14 to 17 feet, and then brushpiles from 4 to 8 feet. He used Greenfish Tackle Swim Jig with Big Bite Baits Fighting Craw, a Greenfish Tackle Bad Little Shad with Big Bite Baits Rollarama, and, a Big Bite Baits Creature.

3rd Place - Kyle Welcher - 61lb - 4oz - $11,953

Welcher rotated through creature rigs for heavy cover and a jerkbait for covering water. For flipping and pitching, Welcher chose a CrushCity Bronco Bug. He used a CrushCity Cleanup Craw and a Rapala Mavrik 110 for the shad spawn and to cover broader strike zones with shoreline cover.

4th Place - Fisher Anaya - 59lb - 5oz - $11,156

Anaya targeted prespawn and postspawn largemouth relating to isolated hard bottom areas in 8 to 10 feet of water. He used a Rapala Mavrik 110 and a CrushCity Freeloader.

5th Place - Willie McMullen - 57lb - 6oz - $10,359

McMullen rotated through a swim jig and popping frogs to intercept spawning cycle largemouth on the move. A primary lure was this 3/8-ounce 6th Sense Divine Swim Jig with Zoom Z Craw. For topwater bites McMullen used the Gambler Popping Frog and a BOOYAH Pad Crusher.

6th Place - Parker Guy - 57lb - 1oz - $9,562

Guy rotated through a jerkbait, Damiki rig and jig. The BassMooch HC 130 jerkbait was a primary lure. Guy also used a 3/8-ounce BassMooch Spanky Tungsten Hand Tied Swim Jig.

7th Place - Bryson O'Steen - 55lb - 12oz - $8,766

O'Steen chose lures for targeting largemouth in shallow brush and for pressured fish. For isolated cover O'Steen used a Hideup Coike Fullcast and for pressured fish, he used a Megabass 110 Silent and to give them a different look.

8th Place - Connor Jacob - 54lb - 13oz - $7,969

Jacob alternated between an Hideup Coike Fullcast and Megabass Jerkbait 110 +1.

9th Place - Jace Lindsay - 51lb - 7oz - $7,969

Lindsay used a Megabass Vision 110 + 2 to incite reaction bites for largemouth targeted throughout the spawning cycle.

10th Place - Derek Rodriguez Jr. - 50lb - 15oz - $7,969

A drop shot with a CrushCity Janitor rigged on 1/0 Owner Cover Shot Hook and Hideup Coike Fullcast bait completed the primary lure lineup for Rodriguez.
